Almost Over

RiserTomorrow the weekend will come to a close. Today I groomed up dogs departing tomorrow in case Emmy goes into whelping. This way I can just freshen them up. The juggling that occurs due to a whelping is something else. I still have my dogs to do. Rowan's breeder may be coming over tomorrow and if she does I will either swim or wash dogs. We shall see. Today was not warm enough to swim. I sat down in one of the chairs outside and almost fell asleep sitting up. I actually may have.

Here is today's gallery.

We have Moxie visiting for the day and a spruce up. That means we have 4 pups playing. It's such fun.

Magic is usually a picky eater. She no longer is and hasn't been since the 2nd day of being here. If anything she goes crazy for the food. It's a riot to watch.

Last night in bed Murphy snuggled into me extra close. It was great. I was literally surrounded on all sides with dogs so getting up at 4am for a bathroom break is something else.

It's memories like these that remain with you and make you smile!

Riser is adorable !!

Riser is a cutie with the black tail on the white butt and the white pompom on the back head. Looks like all the dogs, especially the pups are having a blast. The slightly cooler weather helps. Need to get the boy up there as his hair is growing over his eyes and he won't sit still for a trim. You'll have to show me your technique for trimming pups. Are any other the other pups coming to class this Thursday that you know of?

Well that can't have been my Murphy. She sleeps at the foot of the bed.

You sure do have a fun group there. The gallery looks like they are having a blast. Murphy came home wanting to play but she is completely zonked now :)

Tell her off, Sherry as she slept on top, in my neck etc She had competition so maybe that helped it.

Christine:

Usually I do not cut them this young. :-) Not sure who is coming but there are more of the crew joining in. Hoping I can go but can't if Emmy hasn't had pups.

Thanks, Darlah. Didn't know if I needed to start conditioning him for trims around the eyes. I'll hold off. Hope Emmy has her pups Tuesday, during the day.

Riser looks like he is having a great time. I hope he is sleeping better in his crate and eating slower :)

What an adorable puppy Riser is. And such a great group of puppies. Darlah I hope you get a god nights sleep tonight.

Hmmmm, another argument for two dogs....competition!
I so wish she would sleep with me that way. If I bring her to me she heads back down to the foot of the bed. I'm jealous!!
