Crazy Heat

Mac Sticking Tongue OutThe dogs find it oppressively hot outside. They want tv time and indoor play. I do believe this has been a hot summer - well at least when it finally got warm.

Wishing I had pool time.

Tonight Tracy will watch the adults with Jonathon and the grandkids and Dennis will watch the moms and pups while we are away at class for a short bit.

Cinnamon already endured the bath process. Actually she was good. Tomorrow Winston gets his bath and departs tomorrow. We will miss him immensely. So many times Nathan looks at him and says I really like that dog.

Hoping to get some swim in this weekend when Judy comes. It gives me a mind and body break.

Dennis is back to adjusting to night duty. He is still sleeping. I feel like I miss my day when he is sleeping most of it.

My garden still needs weeding and the bench is still not done. Oh my... Here's to fall???

Here's a small gallery.

It's actually been too hot. As much as I like the heat, if it's too hot to do anything outside, it's kind of a waste.....too hot for a walk with Coop for sure. But today we had Sparky visit us and they played outside in the shade, then went in the house to cool off. Glad you get to go to class tonight, it will be nice to see all the puppies again! Have fun!

I agree, I love summer but the excessive heat makes being outdoors unpleasant.
Kona really does not like to very far. He seems to blink a lot from the bright sun,
and I am sure his little feet feel the heat on the sidewalk and roadway.

Looking forward to tonight's class photos.
