So Very Hot

It was so hot and muggy that it wasn't truly safe to stay out for long periods. This they say will only last till Thursday and then cool is coming. That's okay as our pool is supposed to be closing on the 30th.

The house emptied out today with so many departing. Tomorrow Teddy departs.

With a family get together our stove died. So today after attempting to see if we could get it to go (broil works but nothing else) we had to go out and buy a new one. It's not a high end one. have you seen the prices lately? But it will clean and do a true convection plus it supposedly has an extra large oven but that means you don't have much storage in the drawer below. Oh well. Every appliance that was 20 plus years old now has died other than the dishwasher. Tomorrow we clean under and behind and Tuesday they deliver. Now I can cook roasts again. :-)

The dogs really disliked the humidity today.

Here is the gallery. They played inside more than outside today. I got everyone groomed but they managed to mess themselves up again.

I am late updating as I also got pool time in. It will soon be over. When the cover goes on the dogs are going to love it!!

Hi Darlah. Isn't it amazing how it works. When one appliance dies they rest of them follow closely. If only your stove died two months ago you could have taken mine. If you have white. We changed to stainless steel and we had good appliances that we couldn't give away. Stainless steel looks good but so hRd to keep looking good because of all the finger prints. Funny no one tells you that before you buy...
It was stifling hot so indoors was better for all today.

We have stainless steel. What brand did you get? Our fridge and freezer is a Frigidaire and no fingerprints. We upgraded from white too but it happened with each death of the appliance. Now everything matches (dishwasher is black) and that is the next to do. I am not excited about the stove. It's a stove. :-) The washer and dryer I was excited about as it saved me time. All our appliances was 20 plus years old. It is amazing they lasted that long.

Is it Kat is #4340? Beautiful coat! Nice gallery but yes too hot to spend too much time outside but oh so nice just the same.

No, that is Mia Kat's daughter. She is Tiger Lily's sister. Kat I keep washing but he is hopeless. With girls in heat you have to wash their undersides a couple of times a day. I gave him a full bath yesterday and he looks a mess already. Will be washing his undersides and back legs I imagine a few times today. Ella is most likely getting to her prime and Leti soon. Roxie maybe past.

I hate heat cycles but in a couple of weeks - done.

Heat is coming today too. may try to carry around the pups outdoors so they can see the outside.
