What a Day

Looking at Cooper here he doesn't even look like I touched him. But today, after this photo I spent 2.5 hours on the table with him cause I keep looking at him and he doesn't look thinner. But I feel him and he does. He has so much body in his hair that it looks full despite less hair.
We had a rain and wind storm after I pressure washed the deck. Why me? Well we have an 8 week visit and Dennis is now sick with the flu. I am still sick and Nathan has a foot that is bothering him. What a sad lot we are. So sad you have to laugh.
Poor Noah and Zoe was afraid of the storm. We turned on the tv loud. Our gazebo top broke apart in pieces flying everywhere. Oh joy. Now it flew at the house and ended up in our below ground patio. The other buckled. We still have lulls and bad wind with everything flying. Much to clean up for our 8 week visit. May not get it all done, I am afraid. :-( What a costly storm.
Did I say I got soaked pressure washing. Good thing its warm today. I am too sick to pressure wash the pathways. It will have to wait.
I washed 3 pups at once, 3 pups again and then Mommy Safi.
Can we start the day over again or can I just crawl into bed - please?
Dogs are wonderful. Without that man of mine and the dawgs.... I don't know.

Oh mine! Is anyone hurt by the storm? I'm so sorry the gazebo broke. I guess it's not fixable? Yes, crawl into bed, it is indeed a traumatizing day.
Wow your To-Do-List is scary. I do not know how you will get all these things done. We only had severe wind here, no rain. Sounds like you will need some strong backs to try and clean up all the crashed gazebos.
Yeah and a lot of money to replace - sigh - 2 gazebos broken, broken lights - all my solar lights destroyed. Plants were flying as I had put my pots out. Had just pressure washed the deck - for what.... Seems insurance doesn't pay for gazebos, lost lights, broken furniture. Oh well... lots of tips to save. At the moment not even sure how we are going to move and break down all this stuff. Good news pool opens tomorrow. Our sink broke and is leaking and we have an 8 week visit and a plumber coming at the same time. tell me this is fun - not....
Darlah, I'm off Monday. I can offer free labour to help with your cleaning. Let me know.
I know it's not funny, but had to laugh at Nathan. Looks like he's saying, "I give up!" We're in the same boat. We lost shingles in the last wind storm. Had them replaced. Didn't collect insurance due to deduction. In same storm lost 3 panels of our fence as 3 posts broke off @ ground level. Still waiting for that to be replaced. Yesterday's wind storm lost more shingles and roof is not due to be redone, so patch up again.
GOOD NEWS re the rain storm - All my front windows are sparking clean! LOL Then wind storm came and dried them off immediately! Thank God for small mercies.
Was a dangerous time for any dogs to be out - too much stuff blowing around.
Love the pic of Coop. Laci has thick fluffy hair too, but perhaps not like Cooper's. Most can't believe she's only 10 lbs due to her hair.
Pretty dog in the background? Is he/she a chocolate? Name?
I agree with Debi, good photo of Nathan, shows his sense of humour :-) In the above photo, Coop looks like he has more hair than normal LOL! But I have no doubt that he has less. It's a good thing that the metal debris didn't hit your windows.
What a storm. We lost shingles as well. Sam says we are only fixing but we may need a full roof. He won't talk about it. Oh well. I took Rusty out and shingles were flying from other homes so we ran back home. Scared both of us. WiFi for my iPad was out as well but back up. Love that hair on Coop. I know many men that spend lots of money to have hair. Darlah that flu is horrible. Take care cause it isn't something that leaves you quickly. Hope the weather stays warm for tomorrow for you. We hope to put in a new garden on the long weekend but I am worried something like what we had could come again.
Ronnie: Hope the damage isn't bad on your roof. We went out today and the neighborhood looks bad - many, many homes hit with 1/4 to 1/2 their roof shingles gone. Our neighbor is on the roof repairing. Weather stayed warm. Our neighbor helped us with one gazebo. The other is not as critical as it isn't in the dogs path and therefore they and us are safe. Should get someone to tarp it if rain is coming. Hugs! I understand Sam's reaction.
Deb:
That is Rheo. He is a chocolate. He is Roxie's pup. Funny about sparkling clean windows. I am not sure what those are. hahahahaha
Terrible about the shingles. One would think whatever they use would be stronger.
Sylvia:
Thank you!! I do believe the sons are going to help their dad do the other gazebo - at least they best!
Anne: Funny about the wind. He looks like he has more hair than what you brought him with.
Hugs all round for everyone who experienced damage in the storm. I am now in Fonthill. We didn't have rain and although the winds were strong, I didn't see the type of damage everyone is describing elsewhere. I will just count my lucky stars for that.
