Cooling Down

Here is the gallery.

I have to laugh. Leo drank a huge face of water and Pixie was eating her hair. They so make me laugh. It was a great visit with them. They have now departed.

Family has departed. They got up at 2am to drive back to North Carolina. It was great to see them. I gave a sticker maker to the grandkids as I do not use it that much but they just adored using it so it found a new home.

Now I need to groom a dog and then recover. I am tired after this weekend and I so wish it was warm. I have a sweatshirt on outdoors and still am cold. As a matter of fact I have a sweatshirt on indoors too. I so want a consistent week of heat. We shall see when that comes.

I have a friend doing supernatural with me. It is great to see she is using it and she is having fun. Fun is what it is about.

The dogs are chilling mostly indoors now. A plant was starting to turn brown due to cold and Dennis had to desire to bring the plants in so it is what it is.

Do you read a theme here? It is COLD. :-)

So glad you had some family time, Darlah. It was lovely to hear you so excited. 😘

It was mighty special. I commented that they are getting older so I can have some interesting conversation now with the grandkids. I heard Evie at 12 wants to be a doctor but she has to do so many chores that it is stifling her socializing and a doctor needs to socialize. LOL Maddie is younger and such a busy busy child. I think my house is a war zone that will have to be cleaned but not today or tomorrow. I said to Nathan that I feel old. I don't seem to have the same stamina. Funny I can exercise but exercise and swim then air hockey and stickers and on and on. It was so incredibly busy that I need a longterm nap. But it was a time of creating memories. I also got to see Pixie and Leo. I do not get to see them often so that was rather nice!

🤣🤣 never ceases to amaze me when I see their hair, what a change from our 'gotcha day'!
We'd love to come more often, the distance is a challenge, maybe this year for a swim (been thinking that for years). And Tom loves weeding!😂
If the granddaughters come again, whenever, I can send Pixie to entertain them. Leo just wants his mommy🤦‍♀️
