They say rain and all this white stuff will go? What will we do? I am rather getting used to it and besides it's fun playing referee in all this white stuff. Time to get more or wash it away.

We kept coming in and out so much it should have been a revolving door. It must have been the fun we were having. We had a total chase fest and then a hang out session and then run like hey. You get the point. Check out the gallery in the Roxie blog.
Murphy is back to her normal crazy self. That makes me smile.

She sees this white stuff - she as in that human mom and she gets the camera out, her long coat to almost the ground and she gets so excited. We did too till the wind started whipping that snow in our face and then some of us with common sense decided inside was nicer. Notice Tosca was one of them.
Still we go in and out all day and well that is a whole lot of conditioning.
The daughter and grand daughters have moved in. Nathan had his first drive the daughter to the Go and drive the grand daughters to school stint and we are hoping its shorter tomorrow. Today we had snow coming down. Each morning he will be doing this but they will be getting home with transit or their mom getting them with our car. It took 2 hours round trip for this going to be daily run. :-)
Good news one of our grand daughters will be attending obedience class with us. This will be fun.
Brewer got into his usual run today and each photo I clicked was a white blur. He was kicking up so much snow at me. I was a white coated mess even though I had a black coat on. Now to figure out how to be in front of him and click vs. in back.
Everyone got combed out today but its fruitless. It only guarantees no knots but a wet mess, they are - other than Murphy who gets patted down and a low blow dry. She's the only glamour gal with this white stuff and well that's okay. After an operation, you deserve all this extra care. Let's see, I gave her a broth ice cube today and no one else had one. She hid in a crate and was delighted.

Conehead is.... no more. She's not going after her stitches. We are watching her REAL close and well she hates being isolated. So, out with the crew she is. She's not allowed to be in crazy mode but she is playing. She is healing nicely. She is so loving life but that is her inner spirit.
It's rather cold. I had Reggie and Panda to wash - Logan tomorrow. The daughter was moving in and now this is her home too. The banged up Toyota is now fixed. It's been a busy day.
It's a no gallery day other than the gallery that is in the Roxie blog. It's been too busy and I am zonked so nap time is coming for me.

The wind is blowing, the snow is blowing. Spice didn't move. Usually she loves this but she stayed in position and watched. I laughed and as soon as I said 'inside' she came a running.
Almost everyone has departed except Reggie who heads home tomorrow so its a no gallery night. Actually you will see some of the adults in a gallery I am doing for the Adele blog. You see Tosca is here so its a puppy fest and Murphy is also here but she just has been spayed so she has a cone on. We did have her out to do her duty but of course she had to run. No worries - no damage and she did have fun cone and all.
Tomorrow the daughter moves the last of her stuff in and Nathan makes a Panda appointment for an xray. It seems like days are going by way too fast.
Lots of changes. Looking forward to going out to eat tomorrow as soon when Panda has hers its likely I will be hibernating. :-)

We are exhausted from all the play and the human still has 2 dogs left to groom/bath and cut. So this blog will be short. Rocco was bathed as he will be departing tonight and so is Benji. Here is a few photos from today. I have to say there isn't a soul in the dog department that is not playing at various times of the day. It does our hearts good.
I also updated the Roxie blog as we had Alvin (still do), Mickey (just for the day and of course the twosome. It has been and continues to be a wonderful puppy fest. The adults are treating the puppies like special beings that they are. But the puppies like to get up extra early. Hoping later tomorrow.
On the 15th we will be getting Panda's xray and the duo here their shots. Our daughter is fully moving in on Monday so Monday will be a wash. We shall see how that goes. This too shall pass. hahahaha

We are dealing with changes here - puppies - puppies coming - daughter and grand daughters started moving in today. It is a crazy house so here's the gallery that includes before grooming and after grooming photos. I said to Nathan now that they are all combed out you can take photos. He said I already did that so I think only a few are after my grooming job and oh Inula is Nathan's responsibility. So he has to bathe her today.
I will tell you River is a dream to comb out and Stone wants to lay down, twist and all that fun but I persist. He just started this crazinesss.
Nathan was out throwing a Frisbee with everyone - no photos and who gets the Frisbee? River. The duo is growing up.

Think I am playing catch up with sleep as I am still exhausted. It didn't help that I had to empty a closet for the daughter and I am not finished so tomorrow I will comb everyone out. It is rare I miss a day but today is it. One night of no sleep does you in. Here's a gallery of the motley crew.
As you can see they are having fun. I figure by tomorrow I will feel alive again. I must as I have grooming to do and so much more. The daughter starts moving in. :-)
Murphy and Jesse have now departed. Rocco and Reggie are loving being with each other. As you will see in the galleries the pups join right in.

Here is a small gallery. The dogs ARE playing, They are all at this moment that I am typing hanging out cuddling with Nathan. Dennis is sleeping as he will have night duty.
When I am saying they are having fun, it's an understatement. I just haven't had the time to update you as much as I want to.
You will see more adults with the pups in their gallery. The puppies lives have changed. You will have to check out their blog to see how.
The weather is now a bit better but its still icy. So we see wild and crazy play in the house but hard to capture that.
Jesse and Murphy depart tomorrow. Nathan goes out to eat Japanese with a friend. I hope to get takeout. But I am also out of time as Friday the daughter starts moving in and I am far from done. So bear with me. This too shall pass. Just know the dogs are groomed, loved and cuddled with beyond belief. We wouldn't have it any other way!
Who is the life of the party lately? Koko and Rocco but wait till Rocco sees Reggie tomorrow.

Such a dreary and cold day. Not much of an update today except an angelic being gave me a hat and scarf that she did herself. Now how cool is that? Deepest appreciation for thinking about Nathan and Dennis too.
I am reminded why I love dogs so much. If you are not up to par they will lay with you endlessly. Nathan ate a piece of salmon that was a little off and well he is paying for it. The dogs - well they wanted to just be with him as if surrounding him with love will get him better.
I think it does. Well, it does me.

It is an emptier house but it was one of THOSE days. What do I mean? It was COLD... brrr No pups out but the adults went in many times but they didn't last. Everyone was lifting their paws. So, we did a lot of playing inside. Here is a small gallery.
Good news. It is getting warmer tomorrow. It's getting up to a whopping -4 and Wednesday 0. We are really heating things up here. heh
We are down to the wire. We have 7 days till the daughter moves in so blogs will be short but updated. Only exception is if pups come. :-)

When you take your havanese out for "bathroom break," stay out with them. If you're cold enough to go inside, it probably is too cold for your havanese to stay out much longer as well. Today is too cold to walk or have them out for an extended period.
When you bring a havanese in, wipe its paws and underside, making certain there are no ice balls clinging between the toes or on the sole of the foot. They can cause frostbite to your dog.
Sunday, January 3, 2016 at 6:42PM Sorry but I have been grooming all day literally and not my own dogs. I just have a few snaps. Plus we had to deal with something that happened with the son so LONG day. Here is all I have.
Really I was washed yesterday and brushed today. Got to keep that Mommy on her toes.
The dogs were playing inside and out though today was rather brrr cold.
Even Coco had to get in the thick of things. She so adores playing these days.
Jesse is still joining me each time I open the refrigerator. I have to laugh.
Rocco and Koko are rather fond of each other. It's rather nice. On Wednesday Rocco will have Reggie to play with.
Going to be an emptier house tomorrow night.
Now I think I may have a gin and tonic and my dinner. heh I earned it!

Well, I hope you can see the colour on Casey's face. This was her getting into Dennis spaghetti when he got up to get a glass of water. Now he knows better. No food on the kitchen table. What a riot this gal is.
Weather was wet and disgusting out there - almost treacherous so no running outdoors.
Penny decided she wasn't going to navigate anything but the deck. Shoshi said me too.
But they all played in the house. Here's a photo of Harper and Casey playing. Dennis even did 2 runs upstairs with all. They had good day even with the weather being lousy.

Everyone LOVES this bed. They like it big and roomy. Inula can fit in it and so can Jesse. This is the 1st bed they will covet. This is a bowser bed and we got this print as it was the only one in this style (double donut) they had at a closeout price. It wasn't my choice for a print but the dogs don't care. It's normally a 359. dollar bed in a large and we got it for $60. We got this awhile back but I would get this one again. If you see it on sale, get it. They LOVE it!!
Here's a few pics we clicked but honest there aren't too many as it is SLUSH out there and truly not many of the dogs appreciate standing in cold, slushy water. Yes, it's that bad. I am just afraid it will turn to ice.
I am still under the weather so blogs will be short and I am crawling on the couch to be covered with dogs. I bet I fall asleep.
