Very Wet

We had a tough time playing outdoors today so we played indoors a great deal.
We still managed to go out and in but no running around as it was too icy.
Luna departs today and Casey went home earlier. I hope they manage to stay looking clean. Am I dreaming?
Tomorrow I am cooking a roast. Yum. Bet you the dogs will say yum too!
Third Update Today

It's mighty wet out there. Everyone is playing their hearts out. No one is chilling and just watching. They all love Holly who came in smelling so good that even the boys that are minus their parts are all flirting with her.
I got everyone combed out today. I am amazed. The dogs had special treats in their dinner tonight again and they were licking their bowl clean. They all had a treat after grooming and I am hoping it gets cold again as grooming is a - all day thing with this wet.
Nathan took a nap today and he calls it his non nap as they lay all over him and he really doesn't get much of a shut eye but some of the dogs do.
We had a great day and it is still going....
Hope everyone had a wonderful day.

Still Wet and Mucky

Shh don't tell my mom but we got to play and get soaked before our baths. Dawgs just have to have fun!
It's another wet and messy day. Odin heads home. Amy heads home.
Tomorrow we cook turkey and the dogs will be celebrating too.
Be sure to send us your holiday photos - Chanukah, Christmas and Kwanzaa. We will put them up.
It will be our holiday celebration of our dogs!!
2 Updates: Very Wet Times

Oh my gad how can I keep up. Luna arrived and she made sure she was a soaken ball of fun. I think I dried her alone 3 times. May have to move the dryers into the tv room and then comb them out after they are dry. It's supposed to be rain and rain and rain all week. <sigh>
Clarity and Farley departed just now. They were groomed but after they saw mom, not so much. hahahaha
Tenshi is so close to the ground that she can't help but get soaked. She seems to love it.
Everyone is having a great time. I can't believe Odin is departing already tomorrow. The trick will be to keep him dry after his bath and trim.
Hope the rest of you managed to stay dry!
Send Your Holiday Photos

Whether you celebrate Christmas, Chanukah, Kwanzaa or just celebrate living, please send us your holiday cards. From December 24th on, we will be sharing them. Here is Stella Christmas 2016!
Snippets

Well, Dennis was the only one to take photos but I asked. I took the ones of the pups.
Dallas, Farley and Clarity dropped in. Thanks, Christine for the present. The pups LOVED the toys. They are in that toy stage that they truly appreciate them! Barney also dropped in and you will see him playing with Truffie in a couple of shots. He had his snip snip so he came in with a cone but it was time to remove the stitches so Nathan did. Now he doesn't have to worry about the reactions of the other dogs with a cone head.
Dolly's parents went out of their way to deliver a gift. WOW. Give Dolly a hug from us!
Winston also dropped in for a short visit and is having a blast. Dallas remembered her mom and they were excited to see each other. It's rather messy out there. They say its supposed to warm up and then get cold. That means ice. :-(
Dogs are really enjoying each other. I am enjoying them!
Me, I am better. Still got bruises. They still hurt but I am able to move now. We are almost there!
Today

When you think you have that %$^& white stuff out there, it could be worse.
I am better. Still truly bruised. Still hurts. Still can't groom well. Still have restricted movement but Sherry got us movie tix and I looked at our holiday schedule and today is the only day we can get out. So Nathan wanted to see Star Wars but most places are sold out. We managed to get a mostly full theatre for the movie at 430pm. It means Dennis holds down the fort. We feed the dogs at 3. Hoping I can sit for that long.
We are going for it. I hope I don't live to regret it but holiday season is CRAZY busy. We can't get out. Well Nathan can to shop. We cook lots of meals such as Turkey, chicken, roast etc and the dogs share (not from the table). The dogs smack their lips a great deal as we do so much cooking and they know what that means.
We do not have a traditional holiday. We miss parties, gatherings etc. It's all about the dogs and grandkids. Our reward is seeing them happy. Our reward is hearing those coming and going with their dogs and hearing their fun and stories. Please share.
So forgive us - 1 night of only semi doing the blogs - no galleries. Puppy videos will still get uploaded.
If you are done your shopping - bravo! If not and you need help with your dog, we are here - just not tonight.
Tomorrow we look forward to seeing Clarity and Farley for playing and grooming. We also get to see dogs starting tomorrow that we haven't seen for a long time. So in a way its a huge present to us.
So it begins...
Very Short Blog

Winston was here for his haircut (they prefer the short on the head) amd Murphy was also done. As soon as the blogs are done and I have eaten, I must take more pain pills and lay down. So short blogs.
Amy and Tenshi is visiting. Chester departed last night. Tenshi's dad and mom brought a wonderful floor elephant mat that the dogs adore! This trio has played and played and played!
Fun, Busy and Not So Fun

Muntuno was over for a bath. I wasn't up for it. You see last night Dennis moved the raised dog bowls in my office. I went to get a Tums and over the dish I went. I think I cried on the floor for 10 minutes while the dogs barked at me. I bruised and scraped my elbow, my wrists, my hip. my upper back and my ankle. My necl also hurts to turn. My hands are swollen I guess trying to break the fall. I have been on pain pills all day that have not helped so I am trying a gin and tonic super sized.
OliverWe also had Adele's son Oliver over (River's brother). It was planned weeks ago and due to the holiday rush coming up mid week we didn't cancel. I probably wasn't the best company but I tried. I did enjoy seeing them.
Chester, Saffron's sonChester also had a bath today as well. Nathan may be doing the 2 I have tomorrow and I just do the trimmimg and skipping our own. We will see what tomorrow brings. Today its not good.
Odin and Ty adored each other. Ty usually likes the younger dogs but this time he enjoyed Odin who is no longer a puppy.
I thought Nathan got photos of their interaction, I think they may have come out blurry. Nathan mumbles I have the wrong camera in the kitchen.
It's been a day but the dogs surely had a blast!
Another Long Day and Congrats!!

Way to go, Cooper, Anne and Russell! I asked Anne if she minded if I shared.
From Anne:
Coop graduated from his Obedience class last Thursday. Not only did he graduate, we placed 2nd out of 20 dogs. We were judged on what we learned and the rapport between handler/ dog. I was quite happy and proud of our Coop. Wanda was there to present our winning gift....cookies for Cooper :-))). Russell was present to watch his pooch in action.
We will continue training in 2017. Hope all is well. Coop says hi!
----
We had a full day but didn't take but a few photos. It just wasn't a day to click. It is semi raining ice outside so it's almost not safe. We have shovelled paths but everything goy slippery with the rain that settled in then stopped soon after it glossed everything over.
Here is Chester in the snow before it iced over. He loves it outside so. But he's getting snowballs as the snow is wet. He is not impressed with the snowballs.
Thyme and Chester are thick as thieves or so the term goes. Thyme thinks she has won the lottery with her siblings visiting. Unfortunately Chester will get his grooming, bath, pads, nails and all that fun tomorrow and then head home tomorrow night. She will sleep for days and miss the play that only siblings can do quite the way they do. Then Amy comes Monday so she best sleep Sunday.
Odin has been in overdrive playing his heart out.
Scruffy is not a fan of our stairs unless we have the rug pieces on it. hmmm Pepper finds Saffron fascinating and when Murphy plays with her, she is right there to say can I play too? They say sure!!
Ty dropped in and is chillin overnight. He looks quite dapper with his tie. I will try to get photos.
Tomorrow is busy too. Lots of grooming but I may take a break from grooming my own.
Long Day

Sorry - it's been a day. Dogs are having fun. It's snowing again.
We had Rusty here. He had a blast. He has the same texture of hair as his siblings. Nice hair...
Murphy dropped in. I groomed EVERYONE but 2. Nathan groomed Thyme and Chester.
Ronnie brought a wonderful gift for Nathan and I and the pups. I have not tried this honey. Going to try it tomorrow on my toast - yum. Thank you, truly!!!
Snowy Cold Fun

Chester is visiting and Thyme is in heaven. She keeps having the siblings come to see her and she is exhausted. Exhausted in a good way.
We had sideways snow here this afternoon. The dogs looked out and decided inside was better.
Rusty is enjoying playing especially with Odin. He's here overnight due to the storm. Think Nathan got some indoor shots of him playing his heart out but I will have to add them in tomorrow's gallery. I have a lot of grooming to do and tomorrow I have Rusty and 8 pups to clean up.
It's been a fun day but I am tired so a short blog it is.
Thyme for Stick

It is so irresistible. Can't help ourselves. Something intoxicating with gardening for a puppy. Amy is here till tonight and the pups are having a total blast. Bet you Amy will be tired tonight.
It was too cold today. Dogs spent short stints outside. They wanted to go and then they went oh its cold. The humans felt cold too. Still, they played their hearts out inside. Not a single dull moment other than short naps. :-)
Very Small Update

Each time the dogs go out they get DRENCHED and I mean DRENCHED. Needless to say I didn't take photos as they all looked like wet rats except Teddy who stayed clean after his bath and trim.
You can sort of see how wet they got through the gate. Lots of drying today - too much.
Now to dry Logan and Panda as they are departing shortly. I dream of roof over my back yard. Does anyone else have strange dreams like that?
Snow Blast Time

The dogs LOVE the snow and Inula is in her element. She adores it - Risa too. Here is the gallery.
They played their hearts out and Tenshi came for a visit and what a BLAST that was!
