Such a Day

Well we had a total blast today but we are also dealing with a van that the security alarm won't shut off. Can't you just have a fun unevent-filled day?

It was rainy so many of the photos don't take in the entire day. They had so much fun, it was hysterical. 

I did get everyone brushed and combed out. I do so want to sit and watch Goliath. I fell asleep to it last night and I think I saw 15 minutes of it. 

They are calling for more rain tomorrow.

Updates Tomorrow

Now that baths are done (puppies) and a visit for Safi pups is completed, I can concentrate on taking photos of the adults. This was Miss Adele lazing outside while we had a visit. Jeannie also joined in. Both are pregnant and was enjoying the warmth outside. Who would have thought this time of the year and sleeveless shirts. We are so enjoying this but I must admit I didn't get to click the adults but will tomorrow.

Everyone is having a truly WONDERFUL time. 

Nathan did click a few photos. Here they are. The pups were outside and got the blackest feet and then I had to clean. So now you know why I didn't get to click. heh.

So, I promise tomorrow. I have to go make my lap available to any dog(s) that want it. You understand, don't you?

Very Short Blogs

Yes, we play indoors and out. We had a truly fun day but I had the pups to wash and take photos of and we had Magic, Teddy and Ty drop in. Magic was just here for the day. Here's a small gallery of the play in the kitchen. We also had a family come to see the Rowan and Emmy pups. I also am tired so I will do a better job at updating tomorrow, I hope. hahaha

Just an Update

Winston was here for grooming and got to play with the pups. He had a great time! Here is a gallery. Be sure to check out Emmy's blog as we have some of the adults playing with the pups in the gallery.

Dolly was visiting for the day too and brought a yum honey cake. Thank you!

Should have taken more photos but had a dog to demat that took me 3 hours. The dog was neutered and they were afraid it would hurt him to comb and brush. If you don't know you can, these things can happen but drop us a line and we will let you know. You must take off their cones, their onesies etc once a day and brush and comb them out after surgery. This will keep the knots at bay. 

What a great time the dogs have but I was grooming longer than I had slotted. 

Oscar also departs tonight. No more neck aches and I say that in a fond way. He loves to sit on my neck like a fine scarf. hahaha He will be missed1

Happy Thanksgiving

BenjiMurphyOscarI am under the weather. Not sure what happened but I was up all night sicker than sick and today I have 5 dogs to wash and groom. One is a puppy that has to be done shortly. The rest are done.

So, I don't have an update per se. I am simply not up to it. I should really be in a chair reclining or in bed but I am still doing.

My birthday party just ended and a great time was had by all.  I still hate party hats as you can tell, even though this one lit up haha!

Pool Cover Fun or Hesitation?

Oscar has been here for days so pool cover, no problem. Radar wasn't sure what to make of it at first but then he went oh, I can walk and even run on this and it's fun. hmmm Cha Cha and Satch have seem and walked on the cover so no problem for them. Though I think Cha Cha just doesn't see why they are all running on it. She calmly walks across as if its just another medium to walk on. Why are you silly dogs running and jumping and acting crazy... please!

Even Brewer was back excited about the cover. PS: I usually hate the shaved down look but Brewer wears it well. He's so darn cute. 

Here is a small gallery. I didn't catch all as I actually wanted to see it live vs. after the fact. You only see a sliver when clicking. 

But we had fun but oh boy its chilly out there. The Safi pups aren't lasting as long as its cold. May have to buy some small sweaters for them. hahahahaha

It was another fun day. It truly was. 

I just love each of the dog's personalities. 

Bad Habits

It's becoming a habit in doing the blogs late but its when I have the time or really not time but....

I am not sure.

Fitz was here but I forgot to click photos of him. He's a Jeannie baby. He is ever so cute and built like Jeannie and has as much hair as she does. He is adorable! But here is a gallery of a few shots I clicked. 

I started washing Murphy in a shampoo and conditioner that smells heavily in salt but its supposed to be good for the skin and Murphy's mom says the smell does go away. Bonus her hair still looks good a week later. Is iit worth the smell?

We had a really full day today. Tomorrow an Emmy pup goes home so there is paperwork, a bag to get ready and a bath with photos. I think that is what setting me behind. Well, that's my excuse, for mow.

Day Off

It's almost like summer!It was a warm day today and I feel like I am playing recovery. I should have clicked photos but instead spent my time grooming. It happens. We also had Rosie depart and puppy potential people come tonight. I also need to do the paperwork and get a bag ready for the pup departing on Saturday. I know this is Thursday but it takes time. :-)

So, it was a great day outside temperature wise. I haven't watched tv in a week. I am hoping to tonight but I do have paperwork. So....

Teddy has departed. Oscar has arrived. It's sunny and warm. The dogs LOVE the trampoline pool cover. Yes, it's one of the older safety covers that is thick and 4 people stand on it in spring to wash it and roll it up for another season. The dogs love it. Oh, they love the swimming too but when that pool cover comes on its fun, fun, fun for all!

Two years ago today was when Fiona came to live with us. I have to thank you and Nathan so much. I feel so blessed to have her. She is the sweetest little dog ever. I can't remember when she wasn't here. She has brought myself and my family so much joy. Everyone who meets her falls in love with her. Isn't she adorable?

Well the last 2 days was insane. I never realized how many things one must do to get ready for a family get together. It's actually insane as usually my day is full to begin with. Glad the china is back till when Thanksgiving? sigh

Dennis and I already had the Rowan and Emmy crew out. I am about to take out the Saffron crew. Saffron was combed out. Jeannie was combed out. We are done with 2 loads. I need to put motion detector lights ib the backyard that I got through airmiles. They sit on my desk and come on each time I move. heh Need to get them screwed in outdoors.

The cover is on and the dogs are having a blast on it though its still wet. Can't wait to see the pups on it.

I hope to get a printer up and going. Mine bit the dust. 

Got more dogs to brush out. Got Gracie to wash and one of mine. My PVR is chock full at 100% and can't record any longer. Gracie departs today. They are selling their house.

Jeannie and Adele are acting like they have morning sickness. 

So many plants to let die or bring in. Have to decide. Dennis had the windows open in my office and the room still didn't get cool. All pups are old enough now to have it cooler.

Well back to cleaning, laundry folding and waiting for Nathan to finish reading the paper so we can get the Saffron pups out. By the time he is done I swear they will be sleeping.

Very Late

Blogs will be very late as we have a family get together and well with cooking and setting tables, cleaning etc it's a tad crazy. Never mind taking dogs out to play too.

Plus they are closing our pool today. So maybe later I will get the adults running on the cover. We shall see. 

We had Saffron's pups out on the ground for the first time and they lasted about 20 or so minutes. wow - See her page as the video and gallery is already there.

We had Rowan's and Emmy's out at 730am, noon and again at 2pm. They are napping now. 

So blogs will not be updated till after guests depart and who knows what time that will be. But I am also feverishly trying to get the galleries and videos done when I can.

Holidays and Short Blogs

Due to family get togethers (gatherings) I am doing short blogs and no gallery today. Besides, it is raining.

Here is Cooper after his comb out. He was a tad dirty. Don't you love rain? Here he is after getting cleaned up. He was watching Tracy and her boyfriend depart. Cooper goes home tomorrow. Can the rain stop, please? We have a momentary repreive. Let's hope it stays.

Another Rainy Day

Pippin came to see us and now...

Well as you can see it's another long day. I have to laugh. This rain is simply awful. I washed Steven's three and well keeping them clean was a miracle. I have to laugh truly!

Here are just a few photos today. Sorry we will get back to more after today. I groomed everyone and clicked a few on the table. Nathan was doing nails. I was doing comb outs but if they got muddy and oh boy some did, they had to go to the grooming room to be semi bathed and dried. It could have been worse. It could have been all of them. 

Plus we had 2 puppies that departed. 

Cooper really loves Cinnamon. They roll around and she pounces on him. Someone took photos (we won't say who) and they were all blurry. Hoping I catch them tomorrow so I can click.

Two Updates Today

We have had a day and I think I may be going to bed at midnight. Judy's got printing issues so I am doing all the paperwork. Skylar went home tonight. Two go home tomorrow and I have yet to get the bags and apperwork situated. Got to love it.

I got everyone brushed plus washed quite a few and tomorrow is busy too. Nathan was out at a meeting today and Dennis was sleeping so it was me, brushing, playing and then washing when he got back. He told me how tired he was. heh

So, now I am ready for bed.

Kona has departed and Steven's 3 depart tomorrow. Pippin comes for a visit. How exciting!

They Say It's Your Birthday: 1 Years Old

Happy birthday to the Adele and Newton litter. If I have this right this is Oliver in the photo above, River who is our grand daughter's dog, Keiki, Tessa and Charlie.

Very Short Update

We had the vet today. I had to wash Skylar to depart tomorrow. I brushed out Havoc. I brushed out Cooper and Kona so many times I give up. Rain, rain go away!

I also had to wash Mickey not once but twice as its a muddy mess outside. Our floor is constant footprints. 

Here is a short gallery that Dennis took. It has some of the pups in it as well as the older dogs. I especially like the one of Cooper smiling at the end of the gallery and he was smiling. He also had lovely black feet. Why does it have to rain?

Short Update

Just a short update. Had a really busy day. Cooper and Kona arrived. Havoc and Tobias arrived earlier while I was doing puppy wet and dry photos (Emmy pups). As you can see Havoc is already lost in the play 2 minutes after his mommies departed.

Levon and Trigger departed. We miss them already. Cooper already has taken over my recliner in the tv room. It's his!! Well maybe he is waiting for my lap but here I am blogging. 

Everyone is really having a great time. I just groomed too much today and now need to play catch-up on my own. Nathan took Risa out today and she looked like she rolled through a pigpen. Well, not that bad but she needs a brushing. She's also next on my bath list. She's going to love me. heh
