2 Updates Today

Here is today's gallery. There's not many photos as we were doing vs. clicking. Truffie got to see the pups today and he was fascinated. He just had a peek but that's all the moms would allow.
Unfortunately starting in the New Year, our costs will go up. Please contact nathan for updated costs.

I was just discussing - is it real or is it not? I never stage photos except on the real odd occassion when asked. I prefer to capture life as it happens vs. what you want to happen or what you perceive as what people want to see. I worry about the next generation looking at photos as our generation has and taking for granted that these moments happened. Now we can remove people and much more. Some say it is artistic. Perhaps it is but we are so accepting of artistic change that we lose what is really real. I worry we are losing historical moments. Not that capturing dogs would be deemed historical but I want to say that really happened without me making it happened. Does that make sense?
The dogs move or they don't. They make a mess of their hair or I manage to capture them before they roll all over the place. 15 years from now I want to look back at Roxie sailing through the air with Ella by her side and remember that happened. My memories are apt to fade but the photos, good or bad will be my timeline of moments I captured.
I have nothing against artistic staging. I just miss the realism.
Not many photos but its been a busy day.
There's hardly any but we did see snow flakes. I am still sick. I hate being sick but blogs will be short due to it.
Our grand daughter has a sleepover tonight and she heads out to a gathering in Ohio tomorrow for the weekend. This means we have two girls her age sleeping over. It's a busy house.
Dogs have been having a blast. They love the snowflakes.
Murphy departed. Dallas came and went.
Hoping I feel better tomorrow as dogs are due for baths.
I am sick. Head hurts, congestion so blogs will be shortish. Here is the gallery from today. Stone and River had their rabies shot this morning and Alvin came for a play day. He is having a blast. When Dennis gets up I may crawl into bed.
Murphy arrives this morning and does she care that its wet? Nah. She walks through the water slowly and methodically. Seeing there is ice sitting in that water, it must be mighty cold.
Teddy is here for grooming and a bath. He goes home at 4. He won't be done till 230. I am crazy but not that crazy to have to do him twice.
Here is today's gallery. It's a mess out there.
Nathan didn't take any photos today but we have had a nice relaxing day. Everyone was groomed.
It is simply too icy out back for the dogs to run. Will it snow or melt, please?
Here is a photo of the late Terra with the Spice gal. As you can see Spice is super agile. She always has been.
The Dolly gal is so amazing in her zest for life. She wonders where the visitors are but she is so smitten with Stone.
Tomorrow she gets to play with Charlie, Murphy and Teddy.
No gallery today. We will return tomorrow. Tosca has departed. She was excited to see her Mommy. I love when they love to come and love to see their family. It does our heart good.
We had a total blast with Scruffy and Pepper. I tried to duplicate the ponytail on Scruffy that Lori did. We got an amazing amount of snuggles and hugs from the duo. Now they are home getting ready for a day of football.
Dolly is doing great. She gets so excited to play every day.
Tonight Nathan and I are going out to eat with Paula and our daughter and Dennis are going to watch the dogs. It's only a short visit out but I may have a keg sized drink. hahahaha
No more updates in Adele or Roxie's blogs unless we have a visitor from their respecttive litters. Otherwise galleries etc will be found here.
Buddy, Tucker and Ozzie came just for the day and you will see Ozzie playing his heart out with Inula. Plus all the gang had a blast but I have had an extra busy day so blogs are short. Here's the gallery. Hope you enjoy seeing the play. I have more photos but will add those into tomorrow's gallery.
Even messy Spice is photogenic and she was brushed. As a matter of fact everyone was combed and brushed out but some didn't look that way minutes later or hours later depending on their leanings.
I feel human today. Let's see I got everyone groomed, laundry almost done, beds changed, moms got massages, house is 99% clean. I don't feel sick.
Here is today's gallery with everyone. No galleries in Adele or Roxie's blogs but I will be updating them.
Dogs are enjoying life.
No updates today in any of the blogs except in Leti and Panda's blog. I need recovery. After 1 night of not much sleep then the 2nd of no sleep and then 2 hours sleep, I am still trashed. So please understand that I need to concentrate on the pups while Nathan concentrates on the dogs. He is also tired so he is not taking photos but they are having fun and enjoying.
Dennis is sleeping so he can do night duty. He went to sleep at 1 in hopes that he will be up at 10 when I crawl into bed.
Stay tuned to the regular updates tomorrow.
Nathan is getting into a habit of clicking before I brushout. I have to laugh. It's okay. You get to see them brushed, unbrushed - it's life.
It's warmer today but still chilled to the bone feeling. Not many photos but here is what we have.
It was a cold day but not too cold to remember to come in and get some loving and now we have 3 extra people to do that with. The dogs are loving it but are adjusting to the in and out. Us too. The dogs want to sound the alert each time they come in or go out. Huh. In I get but out?
Here is today's gallery. This includes the pups too.
The dogs really relish having the grandkids living here.
Nathan took some photos today before I got grooming. That's okay. You get to see them natural before the brushout. heh This was Truffie after he did the back shimmy.
It was too cold today for the dogs. We had them out a ton of times but only for a small span of time.
They said it was going to snow but where is it?
The gallery will be in Adele's blog tonight.
Tiny was here and just had a groom. He's now home. Dolly and Tiny played and played and played. then they played with everyone else. The house is almost empty now . I had a crazy busy day grooming.
Getting quiet for the Panda pup debut.
Gallery is in Roxie's blog.
Very little to report or have in the gallery as it has been slushy then icy and well not so much fun. Dogs still indulged us but really they like it inside.
We are adjusting to new people, grandkids, daughter, boyfriend etc. Think we need a tv - actually I know we do or adjust our idea of what to watch. Am enjoying it but not getting much done and need to and well it's not quiet. hahaha
We will have a gallery. You will be able to find it in Adele's blog today. Be sure to check out Alvin's photo in Roxie's blog. He departs tonight.
Yes, out and in all day long, every day but when it rains - nah. When it snows - yeah.
As you can see the sisters are back in play mode. Murphy is doing well and well Saffron is so pleased. Check out the gallery in Roxie's blog. These are all Nathan's catches today.
They say rain and all this white stuff will go? What will we do? I am rather getting used to it and besides it's fun playing referee in all this white stuff. Time to get more or wash it away.
Today's gallery is in Adele's blog. Panda's blog will be updated tonight.
We kept coming in and out so much it should have been a revolving door. It must have been the fun we were having. We had a total chase fest and then a hang out session and then run like hey. You get the point. Check out the gallery in the Roxie blog.
Murphy is back to her normal crazy self. That makes me smile.
She sees this white stuff - she as in that human mom and she gets the camera out, her long coat to almost the ground and she gets so excited. We did too till the wind started whipping that snow in our face and then some of us with common sense decided inside was nicer. Notice Tosca was one of them.
Still we go in and out all day and well that is a whole lot of conditioning.
The daughter and grand daughters have moved in. Nathan had his first drive the daughter to the Go and drive the grand daughters to school stint and we are hoping its shorter tomorrow. Today we had snow coming down. Each morning he will be doing this but they will be getting home with transit or their mom getting them with our car. It took 2 hours round trip for this going to be daily run. :-)
Good news one of our grand daughters will be attending obedience class with us. This will be fun.
Brewer got into his usual run today and each photo I clicked was a white blur. He was kicking up so much snow at me. I was a white coated mess even though I had a black coat on. Now to figure out how to be in front of him and click vs. in back.
Everyone got combed out today but its fruitless. It only guarantees no knots but a wet mess, they are - other than Murphy who gets patted down and a low blow dry. She's the only glamour gal with this white stuff and well that's okay. After an operation, you deserve all this extra care. Let's see, I gave her a broth ice cube today and no one else had one. She hid in a crate and was delighted.
You will have to look at Adele's blog to see the gallery. I only have a gallery of everyone together and one of the Leti pups.
