They love the cool - me not so much. LOL From shorts to long pants and a jacket in one day. The dogs don't seem to mind at all. If anything, it invigorates them.
Inside, outside they had a blast. I cleaned blankets and put them in the tv room. They all starte rubbing their scent all over it. This blanket is MINE!
What a fun Sunday. Me, I need a nap but time to weigh pups. :-)

Today was a busy day but a good day. I do yearn for down time. Tv time with the dogs like Nathan. hahahaha
Friday, October 23, 2020 at 3:30PM I never knew that noise could rattle humans and dogs alike. The stucco is being done on the side of the house as it has deep cracks in it and our good neighbour is repairing it for us for free as a thank you for taking care of his plants, his grass, yard for years now. He did his own and his goal is to have both sides match and no longer have cracks that will leak in the winter. He is shaving it down and has been all day. Nathan - well he is tool challenged. So, usually it is me or Dennis. But as I type, the noise is unbearable. I find myself agitated, stressed and the dogs were reacting but no longer are. The latter is a bonus.Moms were constantly jumping up and surrounding their pups with each grind. They no longer are.
I sit in the kitchen to drink my coffee and Pablo licks my feet. What is that about. Good thing the feet are clean. He really likes my feet.
The dogs have had run games with me. Maybe I am not as silly as the guys but they seemed to like it. I ran like a crazy person trying to expel my stress. I also did hide the treat and one dog - not saying who ALWAYS found all of them quickly. LOL
It has been a day and it is still going on. Did not know it was happening today. I think the dogs and I will be glad when we are noise free.

We are messy dogs but we did end up getting combed out. It is why this blog is so late - just in time for a stiff drink and to watch the %$^& show called the debate tonight.Or maybe just the drink and read about it tomorrow. LOL Let's toss a coin.
Dogs had fun today. Pablo is here for another week. His family is dealing with renos and we all know how that is.
Short blog but know the dogs did have fun today and now they are tv timing it with Nathan and I am doing pups and blogging.

It's another wet and muddy day in paradise. Nami has turned into a sensational dog. She greets everyone. She is smart as they come and she's such a lovable being. Stormy is quite happy to have her around.
Nathan goes for more health tests this Friday for 5 hours. It means I am it for pups, adults and I cancelled grooming that day as who can groom and watch puppies and adults while Dennis sleeps. Dennis should actually be up about the time Nathan arrives home.
I was going to wash a few of my own dogs but with this rain then sun then mud - but why? So, I just comb out but eventually it will have to happen. I can do a marathon when the pups are 3 weeks old. We shall see.
Pablo jumped all over Stone today. He pulled his elastic out and well he looked like Stone by the end.
Rosie dropped in and took over Harlow's spot till Harlow asked her to move over. LOL
Daisy is in the thick of it and loving the pool cover. She's managed to put her scent all over it.
It's been a fun day. I was going to put aside 1 hour each day to learn but it is not happening but I keep trying. :-)
Eyes are opening in the pups. Play has begun in earnest with Spirit's and Cinnamons ones - their eyes are about to open. Sage's all opened their eyes.

We have had it all today. Daisy has not been here for sometime but boy is she making up for it. LOL
Here is the gallery. I may have had a few photos taken yesterday. I do not know but enjoy them twice, if so.
Dogs have been having a ton of fun. I am taking a day off from grooming just for the time off factor. I could comb out every other day despite how hard they play.
It is almost time for dinner, which a couple are reminding us. I cooked up some bacon and we are adding a tiny but to each meal. Bet they eat it up quickly. It's one of their most fave treat in their food dish.
Got to get outside while the sun is shining brightly.

It's rainy and mucky. You should see Pablo. He's all boy - muddy as ever. I told Nathan to take a photo. He did not. Hopefully Dennis will.
Rosey, Ellie, Brewer and Pablo with Murphy was playing up a storm outside. Murphy got wet and went, this is not for me - wet legs with mud. I laughed but she loves to play - just not in mud or rain.
Ellie departed. Soon Rosey will. Brewer is here till tonight and Pablo will remain to muck it up for a couple of days. Nathan is laughing so hard that maybe I should have him groom Pablo. Yeah that's an idea. LOL
This is about the time I say - where's the snow. Nah... that can wait!

I am so trying to get done early so I can either play a game or watch a tv program which has not been attainable for quite sometime. LOL
Nathan was kind enough to take some photos after I did.
Harlow was in hot pursuit of a rabbit today and Misty cut it off at the pass. Teamwork but not quite good enough as the rabbit got away. Not sure if they caught it what they would do but they were fast today and they are conked out on the couch. They had fun.
The dogs LOVE the pool cover. You will see Stormy rubbing herself all over it today. Murphy took over her crate, We have a number of them without doors under the kitchen table. They so love them.
It's been a day and Nathan got me popcorn from the theater which he said was busy but everyone was masked and keeping their distance. It's the last day they can be open here for at least 28 days. Now I have popcorn to watch a tv show with and then I have to weigh pups.

I had all the dogs combed out today and felt way guilty and stressed filled running back and forth to make sure pups were on. Oh boy so that is why I am late blogging. As you can see, I did cut some hair off of Misty. I can see her mother's face now, just larger version. Her ears look out of whack, one thin, one full but it is partially an optical illusion and partially someone chewed her ear. We won't discuss whom.
The dogs had fun. Didn't click much. I was extremely busy but hey its 730pm and I am starting to blog while Nathan watches tv. What a life. LOL

It's a busy week. Pups and moms are also keeping me busy plus 4 blogs - yes 4. LOL
We are trying to figure out the optimal grow light locations for the plants as Dennis feels we never reached the proper lighting.
Ollie is visiting - how nice and is here overnight and for a groom. Amy was here for a few hours while her parents had doctor visits. Brewer well he is here when he is here and Harlow is still singing for her breakfast and dinner. She has also decided that most of the couch in the tv room is hers - back, seat - what have you - it is HERS. No one tells her any different so why not!
Time to weigh pups shortly and catch my breath. But soup is calling. :-)
We are now in 28 day modified stage 2 again starting on Monday. Another ride, I suppose. Best go get my popcorn from the movie theaters. I guess they will be closing yet again. I so love movie popcorn so a treat before its no more for quite sometime.

We had a wet day from the start of the day till even now with only minor breaks. My cedars need them as my neighbour thinks he can cut them. Oh the joy of frustrations. On to better things. This cutie, who is a Raven puppy came to visit. He had a full grooming and played his heart out. Nathan took 2 videos early on and he transferred them to me to upload and I said I can't share those unless someone is fascinated with your fingers. One day, that man will become an expert in videos. I did take one just recently (uploading it after I weigh pups) after his bath but they were not playing like they did early on.
Dennis put some extra scrap linoleum down in the tv room thinking it would protect the floor. I think it needs to go. We are having a war about it. He does the floors so his idea is it will save the floor and it doesn't matter what it looks like. So far, I am losing the argument.
The dogs played outside only when it wasn't raining but they truly had water and mud and all sorts of stuff tracking through the house. They look a wreck so any comb-outs done today was futile. Still, we try. I am so laughing as that is what makes life interesting. Unpredictable moments and battles over nonsense. All things leads back to the dogs and that is what gives us happiness. As they say, the dogs get me by!

I think it is time to play catch-up on grooming the dogs starting tomorrow. I do not think Nathan is going to help me. LOL I have just been doing visitors and well mine can stand to be caught up on. I have only me to blame if it takes a bit of time. I get them all washed before delivery to buy myself some days. I may shave Misty down if she keeps playing like she does as she plays hard and tears up her hair. With no dog shows, why not. It will grow.
The pool cover went on and the fun began. Ellie and Nami was not sure of it but eventually went on. Hallie embraced it like it was a welcomed new world. You never know. But all the dogs are loving the extra play area.
Harlow thinks everyone is in the pool as she runs around barking at the craziness. It's a riot!
The weather - the cover - it all spells fun for humans and the dogs!

Dogs are having fun. They ate most of our leftovers added into their meals. I love turkey leftovers but as long as we were whelping they too needed something extra special. I so look forward to sleeping with the dogs tonight.
Ms Bria departed tonight. Thank you for the strawberry/raspberry pie. Never had that combo. We will cook it tomorrow.
Short blog but Happy Holiday weekend. I hope it is enjoyable or you manage to make some of it enjoyable.
Ms Murphy likes Nami very much. We manage to get a few photos of her playing with her.

Bella is here for play and a bath and haircut. Logan and Panda also depart tonight. Bella departs tonight. Frannie, Bria, Harlow and Tenshi are visiting. Everyone is having a grand time but it is raining now so only indoors. It was a wonderfully warm day.
Let's see if the pool get closed next week.
It's a relatively quiet holiday weekend. Sounds like it may be that way for all of 2020 and part of 2021. Let's hope its a short one.
Cinnamon kept me up last night and Nathan thinks she is progressing but I am not sure. She is due in a few days and that's okay with me. We need recovery around here. Let's see if we get it.

It's a no gallery day as Sage is whining and digging. Glad I rescheduled all grooming as she is taking up much of my focus.
The photo above is Spirit as a puppy. She's actually got darker as time went on.
We have Harlow, Tenshi and Brie with us today. Brewer is a day visitor. It's a truly fun house but Nathan is napping. I need one as I was up all last night and Dennis is playing with the dogs but I told him not to worry about taking photos as I probably won't be able to make a gallery. :-)

Pigtail mess after just a short time of brushing out the Sage. I laugh as that is what makes them mighty interesting.
We got word that the pool is delayed in closing till next week. <sigh> So no running cover fun for a bit.
Today we have to move couches to get ready for Cinnamon, get a couch in from outside and throw a couch out. So, Dennis is telling me what I have to clean to get ready. Yes, I am laughing.
I am crazy grooming due to impending pups. It always happens.
This is a long weekend and all we have visiting is Tenshi. It's a quiet house.
Still hoping the next 2 deliveries start at 7am. :-) I am dreaming - I know.
