24 Hours Old Wow

Mommy says I need a brush out yet again. Have I been busy with the pups all night?

Pups are now

Girl

Birth: 7.40oz 211grams Now: 8.20oz 233grams

Gain in 24 hours: .80oz .22grams

Boy

Birth: 6.50oz 184grams Now: 7.65oz 217grams

Gain in 24 hours: 1.15oz .33grams

As you can see the boy is gaining more than the gal but how it will all unfold who knows. Gains are great in the 1st 24 hours as they usually lose in 24-48 hours the start gaining.

Here are some photos taken this morning.

They are wonderful to hold! Now off to brushing everyone out and getting those ready to go home ready.

So pretty! How can you tell the boy's a tri? Is the 3rd colour evident as it doesn't come across on screen? I do love the little brows the tris get. :-)

I forgot to mention a while back that Laci appears the reverse of Tre. She has 2 little black streaks that are ore noticeable when her hair is in a ponytail - just like Tre! It's so cute on the both of them. :-)

I love the bottom photos where it looks like the puppies are holding hands. I don't know how you get anything done - I would just be staring at puppies all day!

He has tan in his face. :-)

Shannon: I thought that photo was cute too. I get so much done as I have no choice. Nathan stayed up till 1230 so Dennis could get sleep. Nathan went to bed after pups were born. I crashed at 10pm and I mean crashed. Nathan this morning complained and complained he got no sleep and I should be worried he is driving. That was how I started my day - how was yours. hahahahaha

Precious pictures! Roxie is so in love with her pups! It seems to me that if there are only two the mom can be so much more attentive but I'm sure that it doesn't matter how many pups one has. They are all loved and taken care of the same way.

Anne: It's called the super mom syndrome but yes 2 are lovely as she can be so attentive. They also have plenty of milk.

Beautiful babies! The little girl sure likes to snuggle with her momma. Just catching up after the weekend..lovely valentines picture of Lacy. Her face is quite like Tre's and of course their momma Abigail.

Such round little tummies. So pretty to see all snuggled up.

Its no surprise Roxie is a super mum given that she is an Abigail pup. We look forward to watching these two wee ones grow up. Tell Roxie I will bring an extra treat for her next time Bentley and I drop in. So proud of her.
