Penny Departs

Penny was picked up at noon and said wow that Benji guy isn't coming too?

I may sleep for a week. Oh, and Ziggy isn't coming as well - more sleep.

Those two guys kept her going. I had a pretty butterfly clip in her hair and she refused to keep it in. I tried. :-)

Here is a photo of Lucy from Wasabi's last litter. Isn't she adorable?

---

Hi Darlah and Nathan,

Lucy has brought such joy to our family! She has grown so much since you've last seen her, she's now 7 pounds and still growing. She has grown into a routine and is going outside on a regular basis. We've been taking her on long walks once a day, sometimes we can fit in two, and she just loves them! Lucy has been meeting several other dogs, one of them being a Westie who is very gentle around her.

As Lucy is growing we notice more black markings on her feet and around the spine when we groom her. She's getting cuter by the minute!

Penny sure does look like her Mom, Fiona. She's beautiful!

Great to hear about a day in the life of Lucy and her family! Her Mom does a great job w/ the top knot ponytail! :-)

Penny was our only champagne Fiona pup and she was pure champagne when she was born. These two have apricot overtones but I think they are leaning towards being creams with highlights coming in and out as Havanese tend to do. Penny will always remain champagne and to be honest there aren't too many of those - so it is rather unique.

Deb B: She remains a riot of a dog. She loves to muck it up and in Fiona style if they get too much she tells them off. Fiona is a very slow eater on purpose I have learned. She likes to be last so she can tell everyone off when they try to get her food. She munches away looking at them with this deadly stare and growl under her breath and she's all act no action. For her, it's a game. See what I have and you don't. She will even wait halfway through the others eating just to make sure she can play the game. Penny uses that same - : I don't think so - when the others think they are going to take advantage but when they are playing nice back, she's a play monkey.

She remains a love and a truly special gal. But she is her mom through and through - a gentle soul but don't take advantage of me. I may look like a push over but.... I AM NOT! Treat me right and I will do the same.

She was even doing the scat, scat that Fiona is so famous for in the ring. The judges would laugh at that with the exception of one that told us to make sure she acts right and walk back and forth again.

Sheesh! What a grumpy judge! How dare any judge criticize darling Fiona's cute scat scat!
