Out and In and About

This is Katie and Murphy playing their hearts out. I am doing short blogs across the board as Nathan leaves at 5am till Monday and if I don't have tv time with him, I will feel badly. So, short blogs means I get tv time with Nathan and the dogs.

I won't be updating Saffron's blog now till Margo comes or if something special happens. Otherwise I will just update you on Kai here. By the way, she is doing really well. Jessie is here and she didn't even blink an eye at how big he is. He is a collie. :-) He's just here till tomorrow along with Kat's brother Murphy in the photo above. 2 Murphy's will be departing tomorrow. 

In and Out

When I am by myself and try to take photos, I throw a treat to get them to turn around so I can click. This was Winston doing just that. 

I had an extremely busy day as Nathan departs at 5amish Wednesday and its just Dennis and I till Monday. He says its 5 days - I call it 6. 

Dennis will still be sleeping till noon or 1pm. That means from 7am till then I will be taking the dogs out, doing poo patrol, taking care of pups, combing dogs out, playing retrieve and cleaning and doing all the usual things., heh

So starting Wednesday this blog will be lean but I will be doing the puppies as usual. 

Due to him going I have been grooming like crazy as I have reduced or eliminated my usual while he is away. Some are still coming for a visit as it's a must. One's going to see Elton John - how cool, 2 going to Israel, the Margo pup - oh fun, Frannie and Logan and Panda as Lynda's son is getting married and they are doing wedding events with the son and daughter-in-law to be. I may have forgotten someone but its in teh calendar and apologies for those that asked for last minute stays where I had to say no, I am only human, after all.

I can't groom when Dennis is sleeping except comb outs till afternoon so I will be playing catch up then on mine and visitors. Come Monday and Tuesday I told Nathan I don't care how tired he is, I am on strike those days. hahahahaha

We will still have an immense amount of fun but I imagine I may have to research food delivery and I may fall dead asleep each night surrounded in dogs. It's going to be an adventure but I so wish Dennis was able to sleep at night. It is what it is.

Today the dogs had a LOT of fun. You wil see just a sliver in the gallery. We always manage to have a great time no matter what. If it's not fun for the dogs, it's not fun for me.

Such a Slacker

Sorry no gallery. I am slacking off but I have been busy today. Tomorrow we return to our normal clicks, I think. It's been a cold day but the dogs have had small bouts of outside exercise and then wanting to come right back in. Can you blame them?

Safi's in a bit of a funk but staying close to Kai and the adults are enjoying her. Nathan is having a blast with her as he gets her used to the changes. The xpen is down and Kai is out with the adults. Lots of changes. Follow safi's blog to see how she adjusts.

What a messy dog you are, Kat with that leaf stuck on your face but you are still handsome to me!

We actually got a dusting. It wasn't much but oh my gad the dogs think it is nuts to be out with that wind.

Murphy's mom came and she said its colder here than in the city proper. Fun....

She brought the pups a couch and I looked at the instructions and my eyes glazed over. Ikea... well they always make it more complicated than it is but I am going to have Dennis do it. The pups and I thank you profusely! Hope we can use it tomorrow before the next pup departs. Thank you again for picking up my order at Ikea. I would never get there. :-( 

Dogs are opting to go out today for minutes at a time many times vs long visits. Me, I wimped out and let Nathan go out each time. He gets the Florida sun next week so why not. Can it warm up so I can dig up teh rest of my bulbs please and wrap my trug up?

TV time and dogs are loving chilling.

Jumping for That Toy

Got to say that the dogs love the retrieve game. Saffron also loves the game. It's so nice to see the fun that they have playing their hearts out.

Here is today's gallery before I got everyone brushed out. I also got Saffron bathed along with a number of others including River. It's been a long day. 

Teddy departed and he is always missed. I had to wash his feet twice as he wanted to take his clean feet through mud. Tonight they say snow so the ground will be hard and no mud but that's the only good thing about it.

Dennis came into the office while I was typing to take the Saffron pups upstairs. Saffron went running to be with them. He said good thing one is remaining. So true. Saffron is truly a special one. She so loves her babies. 

Tenshi is here over the weekend so between Tenshi and Kai, she will be okay. 

Lots of changes this weekend including Kai driving the adults crazy come Saturday night in bed. Stay tuned!

Got to Have Fun

Tenshi and Saffron still have an outstanding relationship. I guess it is due to her visiting often. No out of sight, out of mind.

This is the blur of fun going on here. Check out the gallery. Dogs are loving this cooler but sunny day. The game of retrieve is always a fave.

Shlomo is here for play and grooming. The gallery was taken before he arrives. Siapao and Dimsum is visiting and having a blast. Katie is still here and enjoying herself. Ruth is still in hospital. 

It's a crazy and fun gang having complete fun. I will try to get photos of the other later but I am also trying to get blogs done early so I can get Shlomo and the rest of the dogs combed out. I have already made headway but... 

Overcast But Fine

Teddy is so fun. He is the dog that lays on the recliner on his back so chilled. When he first came you would never catch him on his back. He wasn't born here so he wasn't sure if he was comfie enough to do so with this environment being new to him but as time went on with each visit he has become so relaxed. It is wonderful to see the changes.

It's cloudy today but we can play outside without getting soaked. I am taking a day off from grooming other than the Murphy who departed today and Adele and Jeannie. I am concentrating on getting everything done for the Saffron pups to depart. This week has been pure hell juggling grooming and pups etc

Next time we have pups it best be during the day. 

Dogs are loving that I am more awake. Probably Nathan is as well. No more coffee on the counter from a missing carafe etc. We have progress. it is good to laugh at yourself. I even know the time of day - I think. 

Dennis is now outdoors with the Safi pups and the adults and Nathan is taking his nap. They are playing and playing but i said just enjoy - no photos. I have enough. There are times that you just have to participate and not click. It's a better experience for all to have times like that!

Thanks goes to Sherry for picking up a few things for me that I could never have gotten out to get. I think I need to explore Grocery Gateway again. heh

Have you also noticed its not 8pm and blogs are getting done. Imagine that!

Such a Lousy Day

Yep, another late night of blogging. So much combing and grooming and trying to do pups etc. This duo went home today. They are so cute... Clarity and Farley - don't you think? I miss them already!

It rained and rained today and don't you know the dogs say - are you kidding? You want me to go out in that? Well, yes and well no. No cause it would be less grooming but yes because you need to. 

We played mostly indoors. Nathan had tv time with them. I did pups. Muntuno was here, Elvis was here - so missed and so delightful. Gracie is a wild woman - heh. Murphy and Moseby are playing up a storm and Murphy loves our tunnel table. Benji also went home.  I call him the great creamy one. I am blogging and well looking forward to snuggles at bedtime. 

Short Blog Today

Can you believe I washed this girl 2 days ago and she looks like I never put a comb to her. 

Got everyone brushed out but going to head for a nap. When you almost fall over when standing up, you are too tired. I am just waiting till after we feed the dogs.

Having Fun

Safi gals are now starting to get out when the adults get out. We do this in stages and it works. The adults have been having a blast but due to Jeannie's temperature dropping and panting now we okay I had to go crazy washing everyone that was supposed to be washed tomorrow. To say I am going crazy is an understatement. I am eating popcorn for dinner and feverishly trying to update the blogs.

I had to cancel going out to dinner and well a friend is now very upset. It was for the right reason as Dennis can't deliver pups and well its not like Jeannie did this on purpose to me. I really really wish I could have gone but oh well. If they don't understand - well...

Dogs have been having an immense amount of fun. Me not so much but I alwauys seem to juggle like an insane person just in case. Its better than saying oh well we had pups so I can't do your dog. But if I waited till tomorrow that is what I would be doing. Still, I do have 1 dog to do tomorrow. I hope its not a long night.

I posted a photo of Teddy on facebook. It was so cute. He was so stressed....not! This is the sort of thing that makes me so happy seeing them relaxed and enjoying. 

Due to rain no one looks like I washed them but a good comb out and they look better and a foot wash even better. 

Hoping its not a long night. We shall see!

Happy 6th Birthday

Hi Darlah and Nathan!

Today is a special day.  We wanted wish Lola and her litter mates Benji, Simba, Poppins, and Chloe a wonderful 6th birthday.  Time has flown by so quickly and we love her more and more every day.

I will play catchup with the gallery tomorrow. I am having software issues importing the files so.... tomorrow. Besides, I am still grooming. I even got hardly any photos of anyone today. Can you believe these 3 were perfectly groomed? What a joke.... rain... glorious rain. This crew says - I know what that wet stuff is and no thanks!!

Lola and Halloween: 2 Updates Today

Oh My

We are all messy today - well we started out that way. I have been grooming my ahem off. It rains and oh my gad do they get messy! I just finished and thought real hard about am I doing the blog? Well I have never missed a day so I figure a short one is better than none. 

Rusty and Logan played with the pups today. I am trying to upload a video of it. Saffron wasn't so sure about Rusty so she corrected him. He wagged his tail and she said I guess he's okay.

Today I had to do baths for a few of my own too. Yes, they need to be done too so Raven still looks beautiful. Stormy looked a wreck but clean 5 minutes later. Oh boy she lives up to her name. Ms. Ella was also cleaned and she still looks good. Then I had a full day of grooming for others.

Coco and Doozie departed. So did Odin and Mia and all needed baths and clips and then I had Rusty. Thank you for the bagels and cream cheese. Yum. I actually ate my bagel in the grooming room. Don't ever do that unless you want to eat hair. yuck! But I had no time. 

Tomorrow another full day of grooming. Actually for many days a full day of grooming.

Leader of the pack.... Tenshi may be small in stature but is big in personality and ability. I just laugh when she is here. Everyone in that crew is so delightful!

Well not much of an update today. I apologize. Dogs have had a ton of fun. We have extra dogs here due to Halloween. So our lights will go off in front and well we forgot the candy anyways. :-(Besides the dogs barking may make for a not fun experience for little ones. 

Dogs are staying overnight to avoid the fun at their house. :-)

Crazy Day

Mickey is going home tonight and we will miss his fun. I got him all ready and he rolled and smooshed his face. I just had to laugh.

Murphy also just departed. We always miss her. I hear tell she is doing a Halloween event. Can't wait to see the photos. Thank you truly for the salsa, chips and con queso. So nice!! 

I had one of those days. I spent over 4 hours doing one dog, a few on another. I combed out all the dogs and Stormy was a mess as she just makes sure she has fun. Ah to be a dawg.

We had visitors. I juggled with Adele. I make sure she has all her pups on or I make sure someone else does as I watch the camera on my ipad. When I was finally finished I sat down and Nathan yelled one puppy is not on. I said I know dear. I am here and he just finished. I think he was getting me back for telling him to make sure they are all on. 

I am exhausted today. If it wasn't for that rain I would have had an easier time. Here's to sleep.

The dogs enjoyed visitors and Dennis running around like a maniac and a great game of retrieve. I do believe all the dogs will sleep soundly tonight.

Late Update

Between Tracy, Kevin and Dani coming, the 8 week visit and all the grooming - well I am extra late. I apologize but I would like to say tomorrow will be just as bad - and more rain they say.

Scruffy, Pepper, Oreo and Magic departed. They are missed. Tomorrow Rose and Mickey depart. Why does it have to rain?
