We are doing all the usual things we are doing but we are also waiting for Leti to do what she needs to.

Holiday and Dawg Fun

I am missing doing galleries as my focus is elsewhere so I hope this holiday photo with Marco brightens your day. We did put up a video of Katie and some of the other dogs so Ruth had a visual while she is in hospital.

No Blog Day

Sorry - we will play catch up tomorrow. Nathan is taking a nap with Leti. I am trying to finish blogs and we are trying to decide if it is safe to go out to dinner around the corner. We were also supposed to stop at the Apple store to get Nathan's ipad checked out. At this point we are waiting till just before to decide and if we go it is with loud cell phone in hand. :-)

So it's a no gallery day but I will try to make up for it tomorrow. Apologies. Off to trim feet on 2 dogs as soon as the blogs are done. I am not grooming anyone including the moms with the exception of the visitors. That includes Pippin in the photo above as he is heading home today. 

Rain, Wet and Dry

This is the weather of messy times. That's okay. Know if they are messy they are having a great time.

Pippin arrived late today so no photos in the gallery of him but there will be in tomorrow. It started raining and well if I click too much when it is raining the camera gets soaked and so do the dogs. So, I try to avoid excessive work. 

I met Sherry's sister. She's so nice like Sherry! I also met her dog though it was just a short visit. No time to love him up as we were feeding dogs.

When I groom everyone they get a small treat. Farley looked at me as if to say is that all you got? I just laughed and laughed.

Spicy just snuggled up to me last night and that is where she remained. Nice gift of having a moment with her. Cooper squashed Nathan's legs. It was a wonderful night in bed with so many cuddles. Best time next to tv time!! Why? I get my snuggles in and those are special!!

Busy Day

It's been a busy wet day. It is absolutely crazy with rain. The clean up of the floors and the dogs are funny. It's the only way you can view it.

Nathan sat at the 403 and QEW to hand off a pup of Paula's. Madam was fun! He is not home yet and waited for hours. lol Maybe he got a nap in?

Dogs are not crazy about going outside so photos was not in the cards. I took a few head shots. Best I can do as I need to dry feet, rinse and do all that stuff each time they go out.

Anne and Russell gave us an early holiday gift and it was so nice!! It was fun to explore the bag. I also got a beautiful blanket for the Leti pups whenever they deign to come plus a gorgeous bone with Talemaker on it. Will have to take a photo so you can see. They also gave us a solution for our anniversary in case this litter comes on the 2nd. So all would not be lost if she decided to share our anniversary date as we could get takeout. Thank you, truly!

If this litter comes on the 2nd, I am naming them - temporary names just for the fun of it. Can anyone think of a theme with a gal from Praque?

Can you believe it is almost December. One more day. How did the time fly?

I watched Kai and Bria and they were a riot! They played and played and Kai napped so Bria played with others.

Tomorrow we have an early visitor. Then Nathan has a delivery of a pup in rush hour. He's talking about leaving at 1ish. Not tomorrow, Leti. :-)

Tonight Clarity and Farley come - wonderful! Tomorrow Cooper and the Spicy one! Zach and Coco is also coming - hooray! Our anniversary is December 2nd and we will see if we can eat out or not. Leti yoo hoo.. 

If not maybe I will take a day off grooming... heh 

Oh busy times but fun times!!

Also Logan and Panda's human daddy is going in for a heart operation. Keep him in your thoughts. Good karma going his way as we need him well for the holidays - magic wand stuff and all!

Thoughts also head out to Ruth (Katie's mom) that she also gets good news and she is able to get out of hospital.

Like the Wind

Ever notice how fast the dogs can run? It's poetry in motion. I just love it!

The house is emptying out. Humans, canines and the likes and again it is getting quiet. Come Thursday Cooper and Spicy will be visiting. So nice! Bria - Kai's sister is back for the day tomorrow. How fun is that?

Got everyone combed out. They don't look like it now but they are knot free.

Harper left today - Mazel Tov to Yael on her wedding! Two of the schnauzers departed. Shlomo was here for grooming. The Luna gal departed - sniff. Teddy - well Teddy is a grand dude!  Ozzie departs tomorrow.

Before Bath

I just adore this photo. Aren't they cute? Yes, this was done before their baths and I just laugh as it means  they were having fun. When it is dark and we are in bed, I have a tough time telling Pepper and Saffron apart other than the length of their ear furnishings. So, I literally go down the ears with my hand and say oh Saffron - oh Pepper. I have to feel my way to knowing who. heh

The schnauzers are here till Tuesday and as you can see Stormy is giving Ozzie love. It's endearing!

The dogs are having a great time. I am going a tad crazy but we are hoping Leti is okay for a couple of days and we play recovery from a very busy weekend. We shall see. 

Running and Fun Play

We had a lot of running play. Be gone elastics I heard some say. hahaha Why do I even bother?

Where else would you see a havanese and schnauzer dancing? They played. They are even adjusting to the wee fries that we are watching while Mom and Dad go out. They are cranky perhaps due to time change and it was driving the dogs crazy to listen to it but they seem to have adjusted. 

Tomorrow I have 7 dogs to wash and cut so Leti wait. heh

We haven't had tv time since family arrived. You see they play video games on the tv and watch shows I am so out - who is that - with. It's a riot.  This is our new normal till Monday afternoon.

A Day

Gracie just departed but when we are making food, she is rather interested in everything that goes into the dishes. Can you blame her?

I had a full day today. Today our daughter was supposed to get off work and go downtown with our son, daughter-in-law, kids to go shopping. Well Tracy couldn't get off so we were babysitting while they went out. I had scheuled in a number of groomings knowing I had a free day. Well, it all changed. So....I have been going a tad crazy around here.

I was just a tad extra busy.

Last night for some reason Scruffy decided he wanted to walk up and down my body plus Stone too. Kai just cuddled up to me much to Nathan's - Kai - come here. We had a full house but we still managed to have fun. 

We shall see what tonight and tomorrow brings. 

Grandkids and the Dawgs

Check out the gallery. Ignore the mop. We have it there as the dogs found mud in the cold. can you believe? I don't - geez! Our grand daughters and our son and daughter-in-law is here. They arrived this morning. They took a nap as they were up all night with the youngest. Now they are out and about while I try to get the blogs done and grandpa takes care of the babies till I am finished. Soon everyone will be here at 6ish. Our local grand daughters are on their way.  

It's a busy house but a fun house. The dogs are enjoying these little humans. The youngest one finds them overwhelming at times if they want to pounce on her lap. Wouldn't you? Stormy tends to be the pouncer. Did you have to guess?

Internet is still slow. The dawgs are running around like crazy in this cold. 

Jon finally got back to school after the strike. He went to university and now he is going to college so he can get a job, heh! Hopefully he is not working too late. Tonight, Nathan, I and the dogs will roll into bed and crash. Just watch - well you can't watch but take my word for it!

Very Busy Times

We have news about Leti. Check her blog. Kai went for her 2nd set of shots and already weighs 4.6lbs. We are feeding her extra well so she remains a keeper. lol We do want her to stay ever so much. She has such a grand personality and the big dogs - well she thinks she is a big dog too. 

Dennis took photos today. We had a very busy day that hasn't stopped.

Tomorrow we have our son from Las Vegas, our daughter-in-law and our 2 grandkids preschool years coming for a visit from early tomorrow morning. They are on a red eye tonight till Monday. Tag we are it for babysitting. 

Tomorrow night we pick up a puppy of Paulas's from the show in Missasauga. The puppy will be staying with us till it heads down to the states to be shown. I have to keep the coat in excellent condition. :-)

Tomorrow night we are having a pizza night cause with all this you think I could cook? Well Nathan did say why aren't you cooking turkey. Really? As many family members that are local will be here. It will be fun and crazy.

We have visitors visiting to see the dogs. I am trying to keep the moms quiet as I do the blogs. Yes we still have speed issues with the internet so uploading is a chore.. 

Harper is visiting till sometime tonight. Brewski is having a total blast! Teddy arrives tomorrow. Katie is having fun and so is Frannie. The schnauzers - well they are ever so happy - I mean totally as Jon thinks they are an amazing amount of fun and well Katie he thinks is special. Dennis loves all the dogs. Jon has his faves. heh Leti usually sleeps with him but now she can't so he left tonight for work saying please can I have Katie tonight and what about the  schnauzers? I laughed.

Nathan's Clicks

I did manage to get everyone combed out - some washed. Then I started walking and my knee was screaming and I am not sure what I did but it best be gone soon. We have Nathan heading to the vets tomorrow morning. We have to finish up getting the guest room ready for our visitors 1st thing Thursday morning and they are staying till Monday. It will be a crazy busy house here. 

Dogs have been fun. They play and play and then nap. Nathan is back taking his naps.

Our internet is still bad. they finally showed up and said all over this area there is a problem and will be trying to figure out what it is in 24-48 hours. Good news its not our house but there issue but hey its making uploading a chore. Our son Jon got thrown out of a game he plays with others as they said his connection is too slow. lol

Harper and Luna are coming tomorrow - hooray!

Soon it will be tv time. Maybe more ice for the leg. want a laugh? Leggings do not roll up well. They get tighter and tighter. :-)

Slo Mo TODAY & BDAY Wishes

Here is a photo of Pepper that was sent! Happy 5th Birthday goes out to Pepper, Darcy, Rafi Nora, Lillian, Brewer and Koraline. 
Rogers never showed up so we are still slower than molasses so that means galleries will be late. I am so trying. I will add as they make it up. Here is the gallery.

Each dog has their own personalities. One has to realize you do not live with the colour of a dog - well you do but you don't. You live with the personality. You can have a gorgeous colour dog and have it just not fit with your lifesyle. It is why we strive to find the right dog for the right home.

Pictured here is Stormy. I combed her today. Yes, I actually combed her. She lives up to her name. She has not slowed down. I imagine she will eventually but she is that step over the line dawg. 

Raven I combed out YESTERDAY and here she is. I will comb her out after I am done the blogs but she has a completely different personality than Stormy. She is a loving, laid back dawg. She is not demanding. She's Raven. She is gentle with the pups where Stormy is boisterous. I love them both. I tell people did all your kids come with the same temperament? If you don't have kids do your friends kids have the same personality? Just as in humans dogs are unique but they also adapt. Havanese are puppy pleasers!

We had a full day. Cosmo departed. He so had a grand time and that pleases me. Margo also departed. What a spitfire ball of fun - and missed already. You will see her drinking out of the muttini bowl.

I had people say but will the dogs like you without Nathan? Really someone said that. I am not in front of the camera. I capture Nathan and the dogs. I have a great nuturing relationships with the dawgs. You just do not see it. lol

Nathan's fear is each time he goes away I will steal a dog from him. They will become mine. It is never intentional but it does happen. Oh they love us both but Kat was Nathan's dog through and through and he is mine now. So is Ella and a few more though Nathan will debate that. LOL. 

Nathan got home this morning and the dogs were out of their minds happy to see him. I was glad. I didn't steal Kai away and he has been making sure they still love him. heh The Schnauzers were also crazy excited though they love me and the games I played with them. I am the nut who can't run but attempts to and plays retrieve with them. We have a blast. 

The point is they love us both for different things - different memories that we create with them and that is what it is about.

ARGH: Gallery Just Added

It's a no gallery day as we are having problems uploading. Just for this gallery alone it says 1 hour 35 more minutes to upload. So, I will have to get the galleries up tomorrow. Hmm just made it and it took 2 hours. Here is the gallery.

Everyone had a blast. We had snow. It melted and got wet. Dogs got soaked. I did a lot of grooming. 

Tchibo departed. He is such a lovely boy. What a class act personality. Roxie, I love your babies!

Nathan is home tomorrow morning. I best not hear how tired he is. lol

He's going to love snuggling with Margo. He was sad he missed Tchibo. 

Our son, daughter-in-law and 2 grandkids are coming and visiting from Thursday till Monday. We are babysitting while they run errands. I am excited about seeing them but I will need recovery.

Oh and Dennis said mom, Leti has a tummy and her nipples are pronounced. I took the stethoscope out and went hmm do I really hear something? Shoot me now. May be wrong but time will tell. Timing would be right.

I am still doing laundry. Dennis is going to wash the floors after I go to bed tonight.

It's a day - what can I say. 

Did I survive? Never any down time and I am ever so tired. Guess I did. Now where is my turn? heh

Wet and Tuckered Dawgs

Tchibo is visiting and arrived this morning. Ozzie and Cinnamon thought it was great fun in pouring rain to bark at some squirrels. I got drenched getting them in. Everyone else came in and they just said nah - this is too much fun. I finally coaxed them inside but for them - who cares if it is raining!

Last night I was surrounded by dogs. It's a riot but I couldn't move then they thought an early rise was best. No, it's not time. Puppies cuddled up against me. Raven wouldn't leave me and everyone else smasjhed up against me. Got to laugh. Let's see what tonight brings.

I just had to share this with you. Also be sure to look at an update in Roxie's blog. 

We have had a busy day. Poor Dennis took an hour here and an hour there but that's it. He's not fully recovered but he's helping out. I had the pups and the adults myself and thank gad for cameras as I could watch the pups when they needed extra help. I played retrieve with the dogs. I ran around like a crazy person and spent a lot of time outdoors so it stayed quiet indoors. The dogs loved it and Dennis said but this is worse - interrupted sleep. I hope by tomorrow he is better.

We have a number of photos of Margo and Kai playing with Saffron. Only one video when Margo arrived. Saffron was so happy to have Tenshi, Margo, Murphy and Tenshi here. She recognized Margo immediately without hesitation.

We now have 3 schnauzers here , Ash, Grey and Ozzie.  I wasn't sure how the puppies would do but they are fine with them and visa versa. Inula was beside herself happy to see them - like out of her mind happy. 

Logan and Panda departed and I hope the wedding went well. Tomorrow we get to see Tchibo. 

Cosmo really really loves the pups and he plays with Katie a great deal. Tenshi was a crazy gal today - but that is usual. She sure loves to muck it up. I managed to get all the laundry done, feed all the dogs, play a ton with the dogs and comb out everyone. I may sleep well tonight unless Inula decides to pounce on me like she has been. 

Thank you goes to Tenshi's mom and dad for bringing shepherds pie. I am not sure how we could have fit in cooking but we would have tried. I have been cooking for moms all day. hahahahaha gad they eat a lot.

Thank you to Murphy's mom for bagels, egg and tuna salad. Both shepherd pie and tuna salad is Dennis fave. But I do not make shepherd pie so he has to get it from M and Ms Meat shop.

Very Short Update

Short blog tonight. Dennis is having an asthma attack and no puffer. Wish I had a portable computer but don't. He is trying to relax. 

This is Shoshi looking out. She is 14 years old tomorrow.

We have Ozzie here, the schnauzer. I wasn't sure how Kai would do with him but she was more than fine. Last night she cuddled up to my neck and just cuddled in and slept. She was wonderful. I surely hope she works out as she is a lovely dog. she just seems to go with teh flow as we always have changes that she has to deal with. So far, so good.

No photos of Ozzie as we didn't take photos this afternoon - only this morning. Here are the few photos I took.  You will see Kai's creative drinking.

Logan and Panda are here overnight as their son is getting married. Woo hoo congrats to all! Cosmo is here having a great time but he just LOVES Dennis. Where Dennis is he wants to be.

Tomorrow is a busy house. Hoping Dennis is better!

Play and More Play

Dennis stayed up today and now he is crashed on the couch with the dogs. He is tired. Nathan departed at 5am and of course I tried to stay in bed but it was a joke. So, up early, playing hard and I am now doing the blog early so Dennis can sleep. I need to keep quiet.

Dennis raked part of the yard but couldn't finish. He was not up to it especially since the dogs kept dive bombing the piles. Funny to watch but not when you are doing the raking. Tomorrow is a new day. 

Murphy (Kat's brother) and Jessie departed. You will see in the last 2 days they have had a lot of fun. Jessie LOVES the puppies and Kai rather likes him. Bravo - great conditioning. Tomorrow we get the schnauzers and we will see how she does with other big dogs. 

Kai had some great add-ins to her food. She had bacon bits, cheese and chicken. Of course she ate 95% of it and left the kibble. heh Lunch seems to be the meals she eats the best. 

Murphy was bathed and trimmed and goes home after dinner tonight. Cosmo arrives tonight. 3 goes home 3 arrives. :-)

Looks like rain. 

Other than those going home, I will comb tomorrow. 

Dogs are loving the play but now they need their nap too.
