One Day Short of 2 Weeks

Here is the gallery.

This crew is practicing roll overs. I would like to think they were mimicing Nami's crew but not true. Their development started a tad early as their eyes opened up early. This is good as they will play catchup with Nami's pups. That all works really well when it comes to them playing together.

I have seen a couple doing the practive walking thing under the rails. Not sure why they practice there but they all do. Sometimes it is not under the rails but maybe it gives them a sense of following a straight line.

They ate, practiced and slept. It is what pups do, at this stage!

Eyes Open 12 Days Old

Here is the gallery.

Last has her eyes wide opened. That happened fast. I guess they were in a hurry. LOL Even that boy with his eyes firmly close went from tight eyes to wide open in a day. It does happen at times.

I really like the white splash on this ones chin. Hallie's pups are interesting. They look at you as if to say - oh its you. Hallie seems to be excited that they can see her. That makes me smile.

Now everyone has their eyes wide open. Let the fun begin!

11 Days Old

Here is the gallery.

The apricot girl with her eyes open is highly curious looking around her environment while she is awake. The other gal has slits so she will be next but not sure when. The boys eyes are firmly closed. He will be the last.

Remember, the girl was early. She may be an interesting character. We will watch and see.

They are getting plump and they do move around their whelping box.

Ms Hallie is very attentive.

10 Days: Eyes Open

Here is the gallery.

The non chocolate 1st born apricot pup has her eyes wide open. The other 2 have eyes firmly closed. She is an early one so we may have to wait a bit for the others to open their eyes. She appears to be a puppy that is looking around in wonderment. She appears to be quite pleased that she can see. She seems to be curious.

I can't believe the pups are 10 days old. How did 10 days go by so fast? I know it may be slow to some of you but I am juggling so this was - wow a journey to recovery and excitement all at once.

Momma Hallie is so proud of her babies and if I go into Nami's area to place a pup on, Halliie looks at me and leads me to her pups. I so laugh as it is that obvious - het me - my pups. So, I head into hers sometimes firsy and other times 2nd. Hallie is patient with me but ever so proud!
