2 Weeks 4 Days

Here is the gallery.

It is funny. I did place all 3 pups on the pad and one went and then the other 2 went. They are not trained. This is called conditioning. Do it enough times and it becomes a habit. It means I have to be consistent and you can't be 100% of the time as you are not sitting waiting for wake up time and then running to put them on the pad.

Pups as young as they are never had an issue with the extra space nor looking through the bars. I am proud of them.

I do this to help them and to help you and these are less than 3 weeks old.

2 Weeks 3 Half Days Old

Here is the gallery.

The pups survived their night in their new area. We have an early adventurer who looks and kisses through the bars. It is the apricot gal. She is fascinated with the other pups.

Last night the camera was in the wrong position so I got less videos but it is now fixed. We hadn't realized it when I went to bed and Dennis doesn't look at them through the camera so he hadn't realized.

The pups will stay awake longer and longer as they get older.

For now, they sleep longer to grow and as they get to Nami's pups age, they will stay awake longer. It is a normal timeline.

2 Weeks 2.5 Days Old

Here is the gallery.

This is the youngest I have ever did this but my method of madness is to get them to be used to each other through the bars till they can be placed together. They seem to have adjusted though 1 did have words with me but that was fleeting. Usually I wait till 3 weeks but as I said, I am doing conditioning.

It will mean many more blankets to wash daily and more cleanups but it will be worth it to get them used to each other. They already seem curious looking through the bars.

So far, everything is working. Moms seem to be doing well too but now each want to see what the other puppies are doing. It is so funny.

Big changes but fun ones!

2 Weeks 1.5 Days Old

Here is the gallery.

A mother's work is never done. She still needs her daily comb out, which I will do after the blogs.

The pups are practicing standing and walking. When they get closer to 3.5 weeks, they will start playing catch-up to Namis especially if we place them together. That will come soon. They have a while before eating solid food but that will come too. Remember the pups are 6.5 days apart so early in you see the differences. Later on, not so much.

These pups love to be handled in  huge way.

2 Weeks Old

Here is the gallery.

I am sadly behind - just a very busy day but the pups are interacting with each other and they are snuggling pups. Hallie is attentive as ever. It is already 8pm, and I need to change bedding, waters, wash water dishes and get the rest of the videos up.

They did practice getting up on their legs and rolling. It is fun to watch!
