Steamy Weather

Haven't had any sleep. Still on watch with Hallie. If I have to go another night without sleep, I may shoot myself. Nathan got his nap in. Oh well.

Tobi arrived today and what a delight he has been jumping all over and playing - so full of fun. 

Nami pups are wonderful so there is that.

Dogs have been in and out. I did have Nathan watch Hallie while I went outside to water plants just so I had the feel of being outside. Then it rained for what 3 minutes very light. We need more. Due to so little rain it is now steamy. Funny...

Nathan too afraid to go to the store with Hallie so I had toast to eat today. One would have thought days ago he would have filled the house with food. Men.... and he does the food shopping. I used to and got a different selection of food.

Dogs do have food, treats and was going to cook up some turkey bacon (do have that) but can't be away from Hallie. I would have munched on that. Going to cut this short but Dennis is having a roaring grand time with the dogs and them with him so we are good.

Boiling Hot Today

It is hot and I mean hot outside. I exercised and had a short swim. The dogs went in and out and we are feeding supper late. It happens. Usually 6pm is very late but tonight that is what it is.

I did laundry today - dog beds, blankets and well too much. I truly dislike laundry but having timers on my watch helps as it tells me when to move it and when to fold.

I cooled down all the pavers with water today. I walked outside and said to myself, this is toasty so it must be for them. 

Daisy looked at the pool as if she wanted to go in. She's over 16 so I am not sure. They say rain may come this week. I so hope. 

All yje dogs are enjoying themselves. Remy thinks he is the greeter of new dogs. It is a riot. 

Oh Boy Hot

It is boiling hot outside. Unless you are in the pool like Ella and Nathan was, it is not comfortable to stay outside. They say we are breaking temps this summer. I believe it. So, we take them out many many times a day for short periods of time. They tell you - lets go back in. 

Our air conditioner seems to be on 24/7. It doesn't help the puppy area as we need it toasty till they are older so I sweat as we cover the vents in this room.

Emmy seems to want to stay outside to play and investigate. We take her in but she seems to enjoy investigating. It is so nice she is here. Barney is coming shortly. Me, I want yet another nap. It is crazy how tired I am.

Thank you to Atoosa for bringing food today. I had planned to do take out - I know expensive but all I can muster so food has been truly amazing. Thank you for donuts and ice caps with whip cream - yum from Bailey's grandmama. So appreciated more than you know.

Dogs are just about to get dinner. We usually feed at 430 but Dennis is tired too doing night shift. This too shall pass. Just got to get Hallie done. LOL

For the 1st time at night we had 2 dogs that wanted the same spot so one sat on the other. It was a riot. Dogs are so funny!

Heated Times

We are so hot yet again. It is crazy weather. They have been outdoors but only for short moments. 

I want to say thank you to Phyllis for the chicken pot pie. It was so appreciated. I also want to thank Sherry for the meal that Dennis and I shared today. It was yum. Murphy was here for the week and had a blast! We have been eating horrid but this too shall pass. Then Hallie will have pups. LOL

Ms Hazel really is enjoying Remy as you can see in this photo.

My hands are on fire from a dematting. I actually iced them tonight.

We are blessed to have Emmy join us. We haven't seen her for awhile. She so loves Ella and Ella loves her.

Dennis must start testing cameras for Hallie's area. he is procrastinating. I really want it done so it is one more thing I don't have to get ready.

Tonight Nathan made chicken bacon for the dogs, They adored it!! It was a great feast nigh

Cooler Daze

We are tired. It seems ridiculous but we are days - well 2 days later, I suppose.

Still, we take the dogs out. Dennis played ball with them. They chased each other and had fun. 

Nathan is off to get food. Fast food for a few days to get us over the hump. LOL

The dogs are having fun and don't notice we are tired. 

Ty has arrived. Ollie and Petey are having a delicious time. Remy thinks everyone is his best pal. 

Oh a Tired Day

It is indeed a tired day. We get to do it again for Hallie soon. I hope no long labour and we do it during the day. Dennis still needs to get a camera ready for her.

I did get a good sleep but I am still recovering. I did half my exercise and that is what I will do till I recover from Hallie.

Dennis is sleeping. He was the night shift. He will get up at 10pm and do it again. He went to bed after Nathan's doctor appointment and after Nathan's nap. That puts Nathan on night time feeding. Maybe Dennis will take over morning feeding?

Dogs played indoors, outdoors but we are still minimizing outdoor play when it is the hottest and they say yet another heat wave is coming this week. Joy...

I put some mind games out so they could play and find some treats. They had a blast. I like to keep their minds working!

Short Blog

We are having pups so this is a short blog. Pups played. They had fun with each other and we are still having pups. LOL

I got up yesterday at 7am and haven't had sleep since. Ouch so if I don't make sense, forgive me.

No one was in the pool today. 

Everyone so loves each other. This is  a highly cohesive group.

Oh That Play

We have a Yorkie visiting called Remy. We thought Coco the maltese would play - like size. Not a chance but there were others that played with Remy. 

The dogs ate. They played and they had incredible fun today. 

I am tired and need to relax in case pups are coming soon. I also need to get the xrays up. 

Lucky Day

The dogs started playing indoors as the smoke was so bad and then by a miracle the wind took it away and outside fun was viable. They do appreciate the outdoors. They also love the air conditioning.

Tomorrow xrays so late afternoon. Are we ready? Maybe. LOL 

We had a fox walking down the street last night. It wasn't bothering anyone but usually you do not see them. 

The dogs played as if they knew they had to get their play in as it was the end of the long weekend. Do you think they knew? Well baths and haircuts make them think - maybe today!

Lots departed but many are coming. It is the last month before school time. It is my last day off too. The land of little sleep but fun too.

Happy 3rd Too

We are celebrating Gomez’s birthday today and cannot believe that he is 3 already.  He’s been a great little brother to Lola and they are inseparable.  Gomez is a big fan of the Blue Jays, dog treat, sunbathing, ice cubes, and kisses.

Happy 3rd

If they look a little wet that’s because they just had baths!  It can’t all be fun and games on your birthday!

What would we ever do without our beautiful, smart ball-chaser extraordinaire!  Talemaker’s Autumn « Abby » Gales!  (the « Gales » part fits her to a T!)  She and her sisters Meadow and Mocha will all enjoy steak.

Long Weekend Fun

Nathan is lazing outside with the dogs. I groomed all day literally. Tomorrow is my last day off till after the last pups go home next year. So, I had to get dogs done today and then we are on puppy watch. 

We have a rabbit with 1 baby in our yard. Yes, only 1. Wish it would take her baby elsewhere as she's right in the open. Oh well, it is what it is. 

We still go out there and keep the dogs away. Three weeks and it will be big enough to run around.

Ms Murphy grabs the cooling bed each night. Then she spreads out so she is the only one on it. 

Tomorrow we have dog departing as the long weekend comes to a close. Nala is one of the dogs that are departing and she has been wonderful. Everyone and I mean everyone is enjoying.

Still hot so waiting to hang outside when the sun goes down.

Lazy Day

Dogs really like laying on the outdoor couch with me or with Dennis. Today it happened to be with Dennis. I was much too busy and still am. I have to get my behind in gear. 

We have baby rabbits out back sigh. Not happy as it is out in the middle of everywhere and yes the dogs are too curious. Oh well.... Dennis will figure out how to protect them.

The dogs play indoors, outdoors and everywhere. 

Ms Coco thinks Ella is the one to dominate as Ella really doesn't care. She lets her hump her and she just ignores it. Then she snuggles with her. It is a riot!

Happy Birthday!

Dear Darlah & Nathan 

Today was Kandoo’s birthday, and I just wanted to share a little moment with you. We had a small celebration with Murray, a few other pups like Alfie and Coco, and some neighbour dogs. They all had a blast together!

I just wanted to say thank you to you both for the amazing puppies you’ve raised — especially my baby girl. They are truly special, and I feel so lucky. 

As you know, I lost Asal, and I honestly would be lost without Kandoo. She brings so much joy and love into my life. Thank you for all the care and love you’ve given to these pups — it means the world to me.

Long Weekend

I have been busy and it is Nathan's day off. I noticed he forgot to take photos of Murphy. hmm She is enjoying.

It is a long weekend so we have a full house. I hope everyone is enjoying the long weekend.

I may wash Hallie and Nami tomorrow ahead of time as I have so much on my plate. 

I am hoping Dennis gets the xpens up tonight so tomorrow I can finish everything. We shall see. We still have time.

The dogs are truly enjoying the warm but cooler weather. I was really careful with Harlow in the weather. She so enjoyed the outdoors today. Yesterday she refused to eat or go outside and today she is back eating. We found this over the counter gi drugs that helps an upset tummy and it works. It is great to have on hand. It is supposed to coat the tummy. You get it from Pet Pharmacy. 

Today some of the dogs were chasing squirrels. They don't try to catch but instead like to chase. 

Happy Belated 3rd

Hi Darlah,

Rosie would like to wish her siblings (Maggie, Frankie, Theo and Dash) a very happy 3rd birthday! Also, a big hug for mom & dad (Tempie & Truffie). :)

We can't believe 3 years have passed already! She brings us so much joy every second of every day! As always, thank you to you, Nathan and Dennis for everything you do to bring such wonderful beings into the world for us to love and pamper!

It Was a Chilling Day

Thanks to Tenshi's parents for a wonderful tip. She departed just a few moments ago as well. It has been a busy day.

It was Dennis day off. Tomorrow is Nathan's and I have to start moving forward getting t he xpens ready. I can't afford to slack but I want to. LOL

We have a long weekend so dogs coming, dogs going. Next week is bound to be busy. So, I need a kick in the behind and 36 hour days. Can you give them to me? We all need that - right?

It was cooler today so the dogs got to go outside more and enjoy!

Dear Nathan and Darlah , Ella and Truffle !! 

Fudge has turned 3 today - it’s been 3 years of playing, sniffing, cuddling, more playing, zoomies,  rolling in the grass, even more playing , sleeping in any position and finally, more playing !! 

Thank you to all of for bringing Fudge into our lives !! 

Also wishing his siblings for their birthday - Maki, Moose, Nika and Hazel - hope you all are having a treat-astic day !!!!

We are Busy

Here is the gallery.

Heat is still on. I am getting busy with playing with the dogs and taking breaks at figuring out what can go where for the xpens for the moms. 

Right now, I want to quit but I will persist. Dennis is off tomorrow so I am on my own so I am getting him to move furniture with me tonight especially heat presses that are very heavy. My plan is to be done by Sunday. Monday is my last day off till who knows when. My days off aren't truly real days off as when I stay home, the guys still get me to do things. I need to say NO. LOL

Yes, it may take that long. LOL I still have to do my usual stuff too. 

I decided to get PitaLand shawarma on Monday just because. It's the little indulgence that count. 

We have Brodie above jumping on me excited that I came out to play. Ellie and Coco was here playing up a storm and chocolate Coco is here too. Keke departed and she is such a sweetheart. 

The dogs are having fun. 

Hard drive is still dead. I don't have access to any photos other than recent. We will figure it out. I just need to be able to do the videos and photos from whelping. 

They say rainy days are coming. I am actually looking forward to it if it brings the temps down. Are you?

Guess I best get back to making room for the xpens.

We have a number of dogs departing. 

I have much to do before pups arrive. It has been over a year so I have collected things that need to be moved to make room. It's a riot the craziness we do that creates extra work but we will get there. 

Dogs really go outside and come back in and lay on the vents. I so laugh!
