Sage was wild in play with guess who and his brother comes along jealous as ever to monopolize his time. LOL sage had a look as if to say - what happened?

It's been mighty rainy so we get out in these very small windows when it stops or under the gazebo. It's a truly yucky day out. Charlie came for the day and keeping him clean is like me winning the lottery but oh we try. Clean up has been numerous.

Back to play and starting dinner. Levon saw me cutting up steak and went plain nuts. I think he was going to dig a hole in my pants.

it's a Day

Nathan was gone most of the day setting up the show but managed to get home earlier than expected. This is an outside show and they are calling for rain all day tomorrow. He is going to have fun. He has to pick up the judges at get this 630am so I get that we are all getting up at 6am. Joy... Tomorrow night and the next day he will not be home early. He will be crawling into bed when he comes home. I need to find a rain poncho for him. 

The 2 pups came to bed with us. They did really well. Ali slept up against Nathan. Sky, Ms. Indeoendant slept on her nack wherever. they were content. Yes, he gets the pups and if he didn't I may never hear the end of it. LOL Their pen was taken down last night and they spent all day hanging with the older guys. they are making the leap. 

Feeding them is a joke as they try to steal each others food. Otherwise they are starting to recognize their name. Ali comes running. Sky says talk to the paw. How interesting.

The dogs really enjoyed hanging outside. But play has been in abundance inside.This is Addie and Katie recovering from crazy play. You will see it in the gallery.

Addie departs tomorrow and gets her bath in the morning. She has earned it playing her fool head off. We will miss her. 

Teddy has arrived. We haven't seen him for a bit so it was a real pleasure. He covets the recliner as his place to eat his meals. It's a riot. It works for him and we indulge.

Levon makes the most outstanding faces when he is watching you or other dogs. I just focused on him and it was mighty interesting. He is such a character.

Cody and Milo play quite nice together. As a matter of fact Milo is a play monkey. Oreo covets the outdoor furniture and Majik just wants treats. LOL

It was a nice day. I hope it doesn't rain all day for Nathan's sake and the dogs. Off to find a rain poncho. 

Thank you truly to Sherry for my fave ice cream - Dairy Queen and for Lynda for gin. I think that is all I need to complete my day - and I do say that with a laugh. It is quite nice that you thought of me. 

Poor Dennis will get little sleep tomorrow and Wednesday. But Leti's pups are doing so well he may catnap durin the night now. Knowing him he will still wake up to check on them.

Dew Claws and More

I think they call this the cone of shame but Tenshi doesn't mind it. She hurt her dew claw and had a bandage on it but we found she needed to air it out. This is why she has the cone on. She is a trooper. I swear she doesn't even know she has it on the last couple of days.

The dogs had a blast today. It wasn't hot. It wasn't cold. I think they felt it was just right.

This is Willow. She was bathed. Does she look like it? That tells you she has been having fun. I think that trumps looking like every hair is in place, don't you?

I decided to update about Ali and Sky here as it frees me up from updating another blog. I will update photos etc when people send me new photos in their respective blogs.

Ali and Sky have spent the entire day out with all the dogs. Sage tends to be a bit rough and has to be reminded. We still have 2 dogs that do not like the pups so we haven't figure out sleeping tonight. We shall see how it pans out.

The xpen will come down tonight. They need to make the leap. I believe they are. We are only using the xpen for feeding and we can still have them feed in here without the xpen or have them in the front room. They are adapting to feeding from their own bowl but of course they want each others. Ali eats more than Sky. 

Nathan is away to set up for the dog show tomorrow. Then on Tuesday and Wednesday he is gone from 7 till 7 or 8 at night. Tomorrow Elvis, Tenshi and Murphy departs. 

I hate not having a car for 3 days but we will survive. Most likely when he is gone, eyes wil open on Leti's pups and Dennis will have to hold them so I can click or I can hold them while he clicks. I am not sure Nathan will want to do this after 12 hour days.

Now I am off to try to videotape a moving toy and the pups. We shall see how that goes.

Long Day

Got everyone washed, cut and simply combed out including myself. LOL

I sorely need some downtime.

Nathan next week has to be away a few days till late each night due to a dog show for our kennel club. 

I am exhausted so I am looking forward to bed.

Dennis played crazily with the dogs. They get so excited with him. But he refuses to let me click photos of him so you just have to take my word for it.

They do like him.

Katie is still sleeping with Jon. I may have to shave her down so he is mucking it up so much. Next week....

Rainy Day Confusion

I am confused. There are all these cushions where I am supposed to lay down. Now what? They say it is due to rain but will I be able to figure out a way to climb?

It rained. It stopped, it rained. It is still raining. We will have to play inside. Staying clean when we go outside is a joke. But its a sign that we are having a good time. Are you?

Hot, Hazy and Baths

I had quite a few baths to do and still have a few more. Therefore I am unable to go to class tonight with Sage and Nathan. Next week I will go....  I will so miss it! It is just impossible with what I still have on my plate. Plus a puppy departs tomorrow - the last one to depart. He swam but I still have to wash him.

I finally got everyone combed out but looking at this photo, it doesn't look that way. LOL You can tell they are playing. That's the most important part. 

We are about to get a downpour. It's black outside and I need to cover things up. 

I had one dog that hates his feet combed. We are being creative when I bathe him. LOL

Amy departs tonight after her bath and trim. Tomorrow Archie, Shady and Nora  departs.

I have to get the blogs done so I can cover everything up before the rain comes and start finishing the baths tonight.

It's Been a Day

I was grooming all day and I mean all day. I didn't eat, drink. It's been a long day and I still have to do my dogs after the blog is done. 

Dennis took photos, stayed up and now he is sleeping.

I promise tomorrow I will get back to doing a gallery. With pups going home, so many blogs to update, baths, a crazy schedule - well I am falling down on my job, I suppose but Simone helped socialize the pups and got many kisses. It was great to have her visit. 

Tomorrow is crazy busy too with grooming. Plus my Outlook has decided to not load. So.... pizza tonight. 

Nathan has a class with Sage and well he may be going himself on Thursday so no photos with that too.

No Gallery Day

This is Mr. Finn. He just departed today. I am not up to doing anymore galleries. I apologize. 

Dogs are having fun. Ty was amazing meeting the schnauzers and all the dogs. 

Murphy departs any minute. 

Another pup departs tomorrow... but I am blogged out but still got Let's to do. LOL

Lazing

It was a hot day today. This has been some summer. I have quite a few baths and cuts to do so this blog may be short tomorrow.

No one is getting swimming time but we are still managing to have fun. Harlow departed today. Reggie arrived today. 

Dennis tried to test everyone on what commands they knew. It was a riot. It's okay. Everyone got a treat as they did accomplish something.

Hanging is the Best

I just laugh at these 2. They like to watch on high. We had a lot of activity today. Many departed. Shlomo came for an overnight and groom. It was a busy household that suddenly got less so. We are lucky that we have Dennis and when it gets extra busy Jon pitches in. Jon also likes to take a few dogs to sleep with him at night. He truly enjoys the snuggles.

Tomorrow I have a full day grooming, a puppy to bathe and a puppy to go home. These days I stay up till after 11ish - sometimes midnight helping Dennis before he takes over. I am getting about 6 to 7 hours asleep if I drop asleep when my head hits the pillow. I wish that happened. But we could have had pups today and 2 families would not have been able to take their new ones home till we rescheduled so life unfolds for a reason - or so they say.

Nathan is outside still playing with the pups and the dogs while Dennis sleeps till 930ish. 

Everyone is haviong a great time. I can tell as they play and then they sleep and oh those smiling faces!

Nice Sunny Day

Socks arrived today. He has his fave bed, fave cushions. He claims his areas that he likes the most when he comes. It's a riot. He is such a great boy.

Finn arrived and he was so excited, it was unreal. Murphyfinds a certain crate she likes and it's usually the one Saffron likes. Today she joined Saffron in the crate and they slept in it together. It was so cute!

All the dogs are playing. The schnauzers fit in immediately. Usually we have a dog or two that looks at them as if they are from outer space and barks at them. This time none of it. The pups also love them!

Got lots of blogs to do and not much time.

Fun Play

Dogs are enjoying the sunshine and now the clouds have arrived. Could it be rain yet again? I hope not.

Ash and Grey has arrived. They are the 2 schnauzers that come to visit. Levon and Trigger also has arrived. Amy and Tenshi are here for the day and the lively Lily has departed. Her fun will be missed.

After Nathan takes his nap, he is off to buy the food packages that are going home. They did not have enough in stock so we had to wait till they came in.  I then wash 2 puppies, take photos and then make sure everything is ready for their departure. 

Our new safety cover is in now. They want their money. LOL We had to get a new one as ours was showing its age and scratched here and there. The purpose of a pool cover is to be safe not just cover so it is what it is. We had one made supposedly the same thickness as our original. We had to ship ours to the states as they do not mke the thick ones in Canada. Can you believe? Oh and we researched. They have safety covers but not the ones you can have 4 people stand on and jump up and down. This last one has lasted over 20 years so ....

We will not see it till they go to close it. It's crazy to pick it up and let it sit here. So come fall the colour and the look will be a surprise. Let's hope we have many more weeks of swimming. If the weather cooperates I won't close till the end of September but it never does. 

Oh well.... crazy weekend. Blogs will be short but from Friday to Tuesday 7 pups will depart. So bear with us when it comes to updates.

Mucky Day Out

Katie and Roxie opted to stay dry. LOL

The rain has come then it goes and comes again. All day long off and on it has rained and at times rather hard. It's a no watering plants day. It's now 2 days since a swim. We will get there.

The dogs got mucky messy for sure. It's been interesting trying to clean them up. Tomorrow - no rain please. 

Dogs still manage to have fun. We played hide the treat. We tested them on sit, down, stay etc and got treats. They are now lazing all over Nathan, the couches, the tables and watching tv. Me, I am in with Leti and I am tired. I am about to weigh Leti's pups.

Lily departs tomorrow. She will be missed as she is a play monkey for sure. Harlow arrived and has been playing well. 

Tomorrow Levon, Trigger and the 2 schnauzers come. It is going to be a ton of fun but please give me pool time. I know I don't have time in the day but oh just a 5 minute swim is better than nothing. Mother nature - listen!

My and the Dawgs Day

Woke up 10 minutes late - poor Dennis. Nathan took the dogs out.

I changed the blanket in Leti's whelpimng box and weighed all the pups. I also took a few photos.

I lifted and opened the curtains on the gazebo outside as Nathan hates them. It closes his view but it also stops us from having to bring everything in and cover everything. There is a trade off.

Got coffee ready, placed water dishes out (7) and helped feed dogs. I change them out throughout the day. Nathan took them outside for the 2nd time. Then I put my toast in the toaster oven and started cleaning all the dishes.

Toast is ready as soon as I finished the dishes, so I ate and then went and did laundry. 3 loads waiting more coming.

I combed out all the dogs, checked on Leti and watched her on the camera many times over. 

We took out the Cinnamon and Ella pups. Lynda arrived with Logan and Panda and she stayed and played with pups. After she departed more laundry, more Leti and puppy going home things to do. I took video and photos that all need to be uploaded.

Nathan took a nap when Dennis got up. I did more puppy stuff, more laundry and more Leti. I also recombed dogs going home. I cleaned Leti's backend and dried it a number of times.

I clean up pads, change them and all that fun stuff.

No pool for me. 

I am blogging it now. I am creating galleries.

I want to go to sleep but I have a dog to cut down and a bath to do. Crazy day.

I went crazy today grooming as I sort of knew she was close despite her 1st day being tomorrow. 

What a crazy insane day this has been. So bad that I forgot to do Mickey and his mom has to come back for him. I think I lost my mind today but teh dogs - oh tehy are having fun. Till tomorrow!

Short Blog Again

Here is a gallery. I deleted one of my sticks by accident. That tells you where my mind is at. But that's okay. I didn't get everyone clicked - well I did but I deleted them. ARGH

Tomorrow Marcie, Steven and May's 3 and Thunder depart. The long weekend will conclude though manyh are not departing till Tuesday. Lucky you for getting an extra long weekend. 

We also have Adele and River here as our daughter and family are in seeing grandpa in Ottawa. Everyone is heading in but me. I am trying to figure out how I can. If not, Nathan will head in by himself. If he goes in with me its a 2 way drive the same day experience. Too much to think about now with leti, pups departing etc. Leti's first due date is Tuesday and we are NOT ready.

Today it is truly hot. The dogs DO NOT want to be out. Some of our swimmers went out to swim when Nathan got his bathingsuit on but the others looked at us cross-eyed. We look forward to a huge play session at dusk when it is a tad cooler.

Long Day

Just finished grooming. Started at 8am. Spicy and Cooper were the last. They depart in the early morning. It's bedtime in a half hour and I still have a pen to do and water dishes. Oh boy. To say its been a long day is an understatement. More of the same tomorrow.

Fun Hot Times

We had a busy day as we had Leti's xray. You will have to check out her blog to see the xray and tell me how many you see. Marcie and sage has been playing for hours. They will conk out. We tried getting them to rest a bit but I think they are too excited. Mabel was also here earlier and they too played. Sage is prancing around as if we gave her the best present and Marcie is doing the same.

We have a very busy long weekend so I will snap photos but the blogs may be short. 

Nathan is about to do tv time so the dogs will rest all over him, the couches, the table that has a dog bed on it and up on the shelves that have blankets. It's a real dog room. 

Me, I am going to finish the blogs then start figuring out what else I need to buy for the pups departing. This weekend is also a full schedule grooming all weekend long so - forgive me for short. I also have to get everything ready for Leti. Crazy insane time.
