Byes and Hellos

Ms Pepper departed this morning. She looks just like Sage but a different colour. She has a super personality too. What a clown - a playful one that makes you laugh and laugh. Ms Sage got so excited to see her and she got so excited to see her canine mom.

Mr. Ty comes back tomorrow. Tia and Benji arrived and are playing like crazy. Ms Frannie likes Truffie. LOL Ms Tenshi is here for the day.Oakley arrives tomorrow - hooray.

We still are waiting for the pool to be closed and when that happens we will do the furniture. I hate the furniture coming in as its a sign of winter coming. I guess it is November so it is time.

Thursday I am taking it as a no groom day. I need my hand to recover and just do pups for 1day to regroup. It will also give me time to play with the adults. Yes, I do that to. :-)

Yesterday was exceedingly busy so blogging was very late. I hope to finish earlier today.

More news on Spirit.

Ty went home. Bailey is going home in a half hour. Nathan is tv watching with the dogs. I am blogging and in with pups trying to get blogs done.

When pups are young yiu juggle a lot and you need downtime too so as soon as I finish this blog I will weigh the pups and Dennis and I are going to watch Foundations with the dogs and pray I don't fall sleep midstream. Dennis gets so impressed when that happens.

These days each time Ripley sees me he jumps up, wags his tail and gets so excited to see me. It's  wonderful feeling. I am in and out of the puppy room so this is often. LOL

Alfie is departing soon. Bonham was here - so long since we seen him and delightful. Mr. Ollie man departed and Frannie arrived. Mr. Brewer was an unexpected surprise and he just departed.

It was a good day but time to weigh and then watch TV after Mr. Alfie goes. No departures means no interruptions.

Getting Cold and Crazy

This is Charlotte on her back. She has Pepper here and is having the time of her life. Tomorrow Bailey comes hopefully before Charlotte departs. Plus Mr, Alfie is coming - so exciting. It is going to be a fun puppy play.

The dogs had a fun-filled day. Nathan is off to the last class with Ronnie, Kuna and Rebel and he forgot so here I was juggling and he hands me her to comb out. Now I have to go weigh pups.

It is a crazy house today and it will be for quite a few days - till a week from Thursday. Sorry... but our time is with the dogs vs blogs - but I try to do it all. Just forgive me for short blogging.

Happy 10th

Hi Darlah and Nathan!

Just wanted to share some photos from Lola’s 10th birthday.  It’s hard to believe that our puppy is double digits now.  She’s been precious to each and one of us.  Always full of love and happy to just hang out with her family.  Thank you for this beautiful dog.

Brr Fall

It feels like winter out there - well almost winter. Nathan is wrapped in a jacket in a blanket of dogs in the back yard. Somehow the weather seems to be invigorating to them.

Winston went home this morning. Rosey and Daisy will depart in a few minutes. I am behind in updates as I was grooming all day and inbetween checking and making sire pups are on. We shall see how I did when I weigh them tonight. Multi-tasking craziness.

The dogs love the play next door.

Katie is still here but Ruth sounds stringer every day. Hooray. We are glad!

Dennis told me to go dig up the bulbs, I am going to just replace next year. I just don't have it in me to go shovel them up. Sometimes you can't be super human.

Hide and seek treats was the operative game today and everyone managed to get a treat or 2. You just have to have fun!

Tomorrow Ollie comes overnight and Charlotte and Jaime (sp?) depart.

Dennis asked me to say thank you to Dorothy. She brought leftover candy and he is absolutely thrilled.

Deep Fall

We are slowly getting brushed and combed out today here and there as the human is able.

After having words with Misty (see her blog), it has been pretty quiet. Jamie and Charlotte arrived and they are now gleefully in bed with Nathan and so is Harlow and Winston. Nathan usually takes whomever wants to go for a nap then says he gets no sleep. LOL Katie decided to stay downstairs and play and now she is snoozing.

Harlow has been here enough that she has her spot in bed, in the tv room, in the kitchen. She likes to sit on a chair next to Dennis while he plays a game and hope he treats her. Oh she has his number.

Our pool is still not closed and I called and yes this week or next. This will be the latest closure but if they are this busy, it means others are closing late too. They say there is a record number of pools this year. I best get my opening date early. LOL

Misty particularly was having a meltdown about Halloween trick or treaters. She has pups to protect. She had me so stressed last night and today.

Dogs are going to have a great run next door with Dennis after Nathan is up. He just has a sea of grass and let's us use it while he is away. They all love it! When the pool cover is on they will love that too.

Hope the white stuff stays away till December. I may have to get jackets for the pups. LOL

Ready for Halloween

Halloween Day

We hardly get any trick or treaters and tonight we will be shutting off our lights as the dogs really dislike the ringing of the bell constantly so why insist on irritating them. We have been so busy, we have not had time to get candy besides. I think last year we had 2 kids. So lights out. Sounds selfish - I know but I care about bombarding the dogs with the door. That's my take. What are you doing?

Winston arrived today for a short stay. Kally and Rocky departed. Dogs here for grooming will depart. Dennis is now in bed till 10pm. I have been so busy that I have been unable to update blogs.

I almost had a meltdown today. I do not have my comb that helps me demat and I had dog to demat so my hand is on fire. The comb has been discontinued. Sherry came to the rescue and is bringing me her comb. Now that is a true friend. I usually get through it but with juggling, pups, grooming etc..... well it will pass. I so worry about pups at this stage. I watch them on my ipad while grooming. Even when there is nothing to worry about, you just do. Much responsibility with dogs and pups. I take it serious. If the dogs aren't having fun, I am not happy but they have been having fun so I do smile. Good news, they are always having fun and why not. They do not have to do anything but rest, play and put up with my grooming. To be a dog - at least here... the best!

Hope you all have a Happy Halloween. It's time to feed the dogs and I need to help as Dennis is sleeping till 10. Look forward to taking a non groom day weekly and maybe a day off when the pups are 5 or 6 weeks old. It can't be a full day off as this is the play upstairs fun time at that age.

PS: Dennis did do the run game with the dogs. Thank you no rain!

I need a day or 2 to regroup. If Sage had her pups last night instead of a long labour, I would need less, I suppose. As we have Spirit in heat, Nathan slept with the boys and Dennis with the girls. This happens when gals are in heat.

Rocky hadn't been here since precovid and he was a bit unsure at first as we are finding occurs at times due to covid but like a flower, he has already opened up and is playing. It is so nice to see the dogs you have not in awhile. It is so nice when you see them go ah ha  it's this place - the fun safe place.

Oakley goes home today. I need to figure out when I can fit in grooming for everyone but recovery first.

I am now on puppy watch. Nathan is napping and Dennis will nap when he gets up so he can do night duty.

I am having salsa and chips for lunch as it is easy, Yesterday was a soup day for all meals.

May or May Not

Vet says today or tonight for Sage so I am doing a short blurb here in case I am otherwise distracted. Opus has cancelled. Harlow is not here. Maui will go home shortly. He's been having a blast.

Today is Bonnie’s 4th birthday!  I can’t believe she is 4 years old already.  She has been such a joy! Bonnie says hello to her parents Adele & Stone, as well as all her litter mates…. Bailey, Marlie, Thunder and Finn!

Hi it is me Doozie. It is my Birthday and I am 11 and just as cute as ever.  Happy Birthday to my brothers and sisters.

Costco & More

Is anyone going to Costco in the next few days and can pick up a couple of items for me? One is something I should have had on hand for Misty and the rest of the dogs as they love it so. It's Bacon Crumble.

and the other is Pistachios - they get me by. I need 2 of each and can pay you. We do not have an active membership and Nathan really can't go far with Sage. Nathan really needs to activate the membership.

Let me know. Don't do it without me knowing as I can't pay for 8 so laughing. Do appreciate it if you can.

The crew is a mess. I figure I will play catchup. Brushing out visitors already and a dog here and there. We always ir shall I say I always manage to get there.

It was  nice day out. Misty was let out so I went out with her despite Nathan being out already. Soon Dennis will crawl into bed till 10 and we start another day tomorrow. LOL

Our neighbour is off to Italy so we may - when it gets dry have the dogs run in their yard. They love the big open space and he doesn't mind. People are travelling. Numbers are low - which is wonderful!

Some of the dogs are miffed they can't be in here. That is okay. They have the entire house. Dennis had them downstairs as he has a pile of books that are Nathans and he said for the holidays he would organize them in some fashion but on the floor waiting for time to do it. You can see a video of the dogs playing downstairs. Having an issue as videos are iploading but not to my channel. Oh boy.

Short Blog

It will be a short blog today due to Misty. The dogs had fun. They were not crazy about going out but they did inbetween rain.

Photos are sort of uninteresting so I will add them to teh gallery tomorrow.

Ms Harlow just finished her full groom and will be doing home in a half hour. She loves to go. She loves to come. It's the way it should be. She's a riot as the more she stays, the more you realize she says lady you put teh water down too slow in the morning. We get up at 7am. Water is down after going out at 710. She does the same about food.

They say no rain tomorrow. We celebrate. Tomorrow on my day off (not a day off anymore) I was going to go to Purdy's and get some cherry cordials and some Sweet Georgia Browns. Misty must have been saying - lose weight mom. Yes, I am laughing.

I had planned to do so much but here I am feeling I accomplished so little. Dennis will be on night shift. Me, I will be in bed and Nathan too. Tomorrow is a new day in wait for Sage. Looking forward to the xrays. Looking forward to Oakley coming.

Staying Comfie

If you are wondering do we take the dogs out when it rains - the answer is yes. Not all enjoy but we do have the 2 gazebos so they can choose to stay relatively dry. I do dry inbetween and they do get to be wet rags but they do have fun.

Today has been an exceptionally wet one. We had Astro over but I do not think Dennis clicked her. sigh.

We finally put our heat on to a reasonable temperature and I do believe the humans and dogs are happy about it. We try to hold out as long as we can.

Ms Harlow departs tomorrow night so Wednesday she can stay clean. LOL

Such Play

This was Benjamin and Coco playing their heart out. We have a fun group here but most will depart tomorrow. I miss the dogs go but so appreciate those that share them with us.

Tomorrow we also figure out this room and set up for the moms. I have to always move stuff out and each time what I move out is different. It makes it interesting. It gets crowded or shall I say cozy around here, at least in this room. As soon as pups arrive the dogs are not allowed in here. It's just the moms. 

Update Dennis wants me to make room but doesn't want any xpens up so he has room to play his VR. LOL He wants to finish the game he is on so that means I organize in here today and Thursday we setup.

Other things that change is Dennis does night shift and we do day shift. It also means my day off goes. So, this Wednesday is my last day off till next year. We also head into the land of no sleep. But there is nothing like oohing anf ahhhing over little beings and the moms that so smile at - look what I did. So - fun times.

Snow will come. We will have a blast with snow. Holidays arrive. Hopefully we will see dogs and you will all go away. LOL We are finally starting to climb out of covid. They say by March we will most likely see no restrictions. Imagine that!

Okay, enough of that. Everyone got combed out. They got treats. They played games and Nathan has still not finished his office. Sigh
