Well, we have a short day. I had a very busy day and it continues. We have class tonight so it's another short blog. Getting tired of short blogs? Me too but best I can do for a few days. Here's a gallery. Some are blurry but it gives you an idea of how they play.

Had a very long day today. Lots of grooming. Paula dropped in with her kids and had dinner with us. It was really nice to see her but blogs - just can't do and tomorrow will be the same as I have grooming from 7am till evening. So bear with me. Here's today's gallery.

Dogs are LOVING having cool weather but dry. No mud (human says hooray) and well just invigorating enough to make them move. Check the gallery.
It's a very busy day but a fun one. Inula is so crazy about Ozzie. It is funny how relationships evolve and change and come together.
This blog is short as we had an 8 week puppy visit then Dexter departing. I also had a number of dogs to do.

Marlee and Jazmyn is now home but I have to laugh as Marlee appeared to be taking in all the words on the fridge.
It was wet oudoors most of the day. It means muddy. It wasn't all that warm and well they still managed to have great fun.

First of all, Happy St. Patty's Day. Someone sent me a photo but I can't find it. argh but when I do I will upload it - if I can find it.
Dogs are having a blast but Dennis and our teenage grand daughters are holding down the fort. So no more update other than this gallery.
Everyone is playing SO well together. It's nice even to see those reserved opening up.

It's fruitless to do anything but hose off, comb and let them air dry in warm blankets. Murphy is minor to what they just came in with. Off to hose and brush and comb. hahaha

Looks like we are going to Pet Expo on Friday, March 25. It's the only day we can. Anyone else coming?

It rained. We got drenched and muddy and then we said so what. Okay we were brushed here and there but really sometimes you have to embrace the muck and just laugh about it.
Sadie arrived and brought it up a notch by getting everyone doing the run like hey game and then she would stop midstream as if to say what are you fools doing. I thought it was a one off thing but it wasn't. She did it again and again. I just laughed as they followed.

Dallas would like to wish her littermates Satch, Fitz, and Charlotte a very Happy First Birthday.
I can't believe that Dallas is one today. She is a wonderful dog. Smart, loving, affectionate and oh so friendly! Just ask any of our visitors as she makes everyone feel special!
We can't thank you enough for giving us this wonderful girl. You guys are simply the best.

Olive says it's raining outside and really do you want me to do rain? I don't think so. I just laugh as most are feeling that way today. So we are doing a ton of indoor play. It's a no gallery day.
We have fun to attend to and class tonight. Hope you don't mind.

I think the most fave room in the house, other than the bedroom where they crawl into bed with us is the tv room. Jazmyn likes to sit on high and look at all the dogs that want her spot. heh
Chase always gravitates to this couch. I am not sure why she likes it so but she stretches out and says mine. I love it. We have 2 couches, a recliner and ottomans in the room plus Leti likes to get up on the desk and sleep there. We always have blankets for them to lay on. We even have a great Dane size crate with a door that slides in and stays open all the time with blankets on top. They use it to go back and forth between the couches. It's certainly a tv room but its designed with dog comfort.
We had a busy day today so that's it!

What are you smelling, Marlee. I know when the weather gets warm there is a heck of a lot of sniffing going on with the dogs. Sometimes the dogs are full out playing and other times they are reading the smells. Who was here, how did they feel etc. Yes, a dog can tell a great deal from emotion to who it was that was hanging out somewhere.
I had a full day of grooming today - haircuts for spring and regulars. I even had Abigail and Bentley here but I am seriously tired so blogs will be short.

I am Tiger Lily. I was brushed out this morning. My bow was put back on and well those bleepin pups like to grab at it and this is how I look when they are done. Oh, I don't mind but I am not especially excited about getting groomed again even if I get treats. Dear old Logan was the same. What is it about top knots? That human kept correcting but it was too enticing.
Stone is in the dog house today as he chewed that table. Bitter Apple - have to get more.

Truffie with his Momma FionaThis is a no update day of sorts. No gallery. It's raining. I have been grooming since 8am and just finished and still have a touchup to do and gad knows what else after the dogs go out and come back in so I will update you with just words.
Everyone is doing well. Tuffie and Bonham just departed. Maxine is here for a day visit and Mabel just left.
Mabel is so much like Spice, it's unreal. She has this kissy kissy thing down pat and the wriggle the entire body excitement to see you. It's lovely.
Tonight Olive and Oreo come for a visit. It is the start of March Break.
Tomorrow no rain, warmth and well after grooming I am going to play with my new phone, if it ever comes and oh wash Inula cause I am not up to doing it today.
Inula is Nathan's responsibility but I said I would wash cause I love him but she's like doing 3 havanese.
Still haven't figured out if we are going Friday or Saturday to Pet Expo (25th or 26th). Have to figure out the daughter's schedule but hope to see some of you there.
Everyone, as I type is vegging with Nathan as he is napping. It's a dreary day out and although we have play, it's not the same as a warm sunny day outside. Tomorrow....

Today was a simply magical day weather wise except for the remaining melting snow. Sarah and I have been training Alvin and River and Nathan has been doing training with Stone. Here is today's gallery.
The dogs loved playing inside or hanging out on the deck for the most part but really muddy and soaked feet...
Everyone was brushed and combed out. I am known as the treat lady. Groom equals a treat. heh

We are quickly going through a meltdown. I brush and comb but it really isn't making headway. We did manage to get a small gallery. Not everyone appreciates ankle deep wet. It's also overcast. On days like this they nap with Nathan and play indoors and tolerate the outdoors but if this stays warm then soon it will be dry out there.
I also washed. Shoshi and Roxie. Little by little but seeing the wet, why. :-)
We have class tonight and our daughter is coming so she can watch her daughter with River. usually we have a van without room but Alvin's mom is meeting us there so we have room so Tracy can watch. I am glad she can come too otherwise I was going to opt to stay home one night so she could go.

Yes, we are experiencing a melt down. Before Ash and Grey (schnauzer) and Dusty went home, they got to play with the pups.
Here's a gallery of the dogs playing. You will have to look at the puppy galleries in their respective blogs to see more play.
Dogs are getting mucky due to that melting but we are coping just fine. We will see what the weather brings tomorrow.

Spice surveyed the audience and smiled. Dogs had a blast. Dusty was playing with the pups so she will be in the Leti blog's 8 week visit and in the photos. Here's the gallery today.
Everyone is having a great time. Adele is now not in peak with her heat and I am hoping she is out in a day or 2. We will start testing her tonight. She is now in with me so the boys can also be in the tv 'man cave' room with Nathan. They are in heaven as I do believe it is their fave room. Maybe because we have blankets and beds all over and they love the comfort.
I am slowly cleaning my dogs. Tomorrow is a no grooming day so we will begin again on Monday.
Looking forward to going to Pet Expo March 25-27 (request for a bday present - silly I know). Is anyone else going?
